Chapter 36

Irene's POV
"Congratulations on winning today, ladies," Seulgi said as he gave the flowers to my members. After that, he looked at me with a smile when he was about to give the flower to me. "And congratulations on your first day of hosting, my woman."

I smiled back at him and took the flower, "Thank you, Seulgi."

Seulgi was about to say something when someone called my name behind Seulgi.

"Joohyun noona." I looked at that person and saw Bogum walking towards us.

"Oh, Bogum," I said after he came near us.

After we met again, we exchanged numbers and kept in touch. And I'm so happy because we also dated yesterday.

Bogum bowed to my members, manager Sunmi, manager Dohwan, and Seulgi, who did the same to him. He looked at me after. "The production team wanted to talk to us."

I nodded, "Okay." I looked at the others. "Please, excuse us," I said, and they nodded in response.

"Who is that guy?" Bogum asked after we walked away from them.

"Who?" I asked in confusion.

"The guy who called you my woman."

"Oh, that's Seulgi, one of our backup dancers."

"Why did he call you like that? And why did he give you a flower? Is he hitting on you?"

I glanced at him and saw him with a frown. I laughed softly and shook my head. "He's just like that. And he has been giving flowers to my members and not just me since we became friends with him. Don't be jealous."

"I don't like him. Stay away from him." He said with seriousness in his voice.

"What? I can't do that. Especially since he is one of our backup dancers right now."

"Then, keep your distance from him. I don't want to see you with him."

I stopped walking, and so did he. I looked at him in confusion. "What's wrong with you? I don't think it's right to distance myself from him."

"Just do it." He said with a serious face.

"I can't. He's my friend, Bogum."

He looked around before he looked at me again. "And I'm your boyfriend."

I sighed in defeat, "Fine, I'll try."

He smiled at me after I said that. "Thank you. Let's go." He said and started to walk.

I just shook my head before following him.

Seulgi's POV
I just arrived at the basement parking of my condo after Redpink's performance to sleep before our practice later. I just slept for a short period of time today because I raced last night.

I was walking towards the elevator when some people blocked my way. They wear all-black outfits and masks with only their eyes visible. I counted them in my mind, and they are ten in total.

"Who are you?" I asked even though I knew they wouldn't answer my question.

I stepped backward and was ready to run away because I knew I couldn't win over them when they started to surround me.

My vision became black when someone covered my face with black fabric, and I felt someone tie my feet and hands.

After they made sure I couldn't fight them, they started beating me all over my body as well as my face.

"That's enough." Someone stopped when I was already lying on the ground and coughing blood. I felt someone grab the collar of my shirt. "That's just a warning." It's the same voice that stopped the others.
