"Oh, Taerim." I turned around at the mention of my name. I had went to buy a few groceries. "Ah, Ji-hu." My enthusiasm was clearly not overwhelming me. "How come I meet you here?" I scratched my neck. "Yeah, well, same goes for you. How come?" I turned back around, putting my things inside. "I live nearby, that's why," he responded. "Then we must live close," I quietly spoke. "You still didn't text me, huh?" I blinked a few times, remembering. "Oh right, sorry...I'm just" he nodded, smiling. "It's all good. Is it because Minho said I'm dating someone?" I faced him. "Do you really?"

He shook his head. "Of course not, I broke up with her a few weeks ago.. He just doesn't know. Or maybe he also doesn't care." I slowly made my way to pay, making sure I can follow the conversion. "I see, so you two ain't really friends", "Well I don't know how to put it. He thinks I'm after him because of the money, but that's what the others want," he explained. "Oh, sorry for seeing you wrongly," I lazily apologised. "You're really straight forwards. I like that." I turned around to face him. "You sure you like that?" He shrugged, nodding casually. "You seem straight forward too, I mean.." he chuckled. "Because I said you're my type and asked for your number?" I weirdly smiled back. "Well, yeah," I responded.
"You don't like that?" He questioned. "Huh?", "i'm just kidding." He patted my shoulder as I slightly leaned back. He seems nice, no question. But I ain't ready for anything right now.
Also...no one even noticed me before.. What is this random attention he's giving me?

"Well, I'll go then," I slightly bowed down.
He returned my action. "Get home safely. And since you know I'm not dating now, feel free to respond to my texts," he reminded. "Oh yeah, right. I will." I slightly chuckled.

_

"You seriously thinking about this?" Akari questioned on the other side of the video call. "Why not? He seems nice and also like he likes me," I responded. "Minho also likes..or liked you." I groaned weakly. "This ain't about him," I corrected her. "I dunno, to me it seems like you wanna escape your feelings which are left for him-" I interrupted her. "Hey, my life goes on. I should try new things," I said. "You wanna date several people right after each other? This ain't healthy", "I've not been talking about dating him, just getting to know, you know?" She shrugged, laying down. "You should go to sleep. Your eyebags are clearly visible." I touched them insulted. "Whatever, bye." I laid down as well. "Mh, sleep well."

I hang up, turning my light off. I remained staring up at the ceiling as suddenly my phone rang. Is Akari calling me again? Ji-kyoung or maybe Ji-hu.. Well, let's hope not. With half opened eyes I checked the screen out.
'Weird guy' my heart immediately started to race like crazy. What's that? Why is he calling me....I was too curious to not pick up.

"Hello?" I weirdly questioned.
"Hi Taerim," an unfamiliar voice spoke up while the owner of the phone was only heard in the background. "Hey! Don't just call her. Are you crazy?!" I squinted my eyes. "Chill, she didn't even pick up." The voice slowly faded away. A male? But someone I definitely have never heard of.

"Give me my phone back," Minho ordered. "Just because we're related doesn't mean you can just take what's mine." I frowned, confused. Related? "Exactly, that's why you should be nicer," he chuckled. "As if, I am nice. You just don't notice," I scoffed at that. A moment of silence passed. "So she didn't pick up?" The unfamiliar boy denied. "No, also you shouldn't be on your phone anyway when I'm over. Is she more important or what?", "You can't compare family with..." I turned so quiet that I almost forgot to breathe. "With what? Come on, tell me. Love?" He questioned. "No, not love. Just with a none family member." I could hear him standing up.

Minho's POV

I stood up to grab my phone, shoving it into my pocket right after. No one was on call, luckily. "I'm bored. Your room is so big, still you always spend time on your bed or desk." I sighed. "Hey Jisung. I have all this for you to not be bored. So do whatever." I went to sit down onto my bed. He sulky stood up, heading to the book shelf. "Do you have mangas?" The brown haired boy questioned. "Uhh yeah, on the left. Not many, though." I went onto the past calls. "Hey Hannie, didn't you say that she didn't pick up?" A slight fear filled my voice. "I guess, I didn't look onto the screen. Why?" I closed my eyes, inhaling deeply. "Nothing."
