"Your hair," Jisung pointed out. "Mh," I hummed. "I like it a lot. Looks better than before. You know, I can actually see your eyes." He widened his eyes, coming close to meet mine. I pushed him slightly away, heading past him. "Where going so fastly? No, when was the last time you moved fastly?" He loved teasing these days. He knew how my mental state was, but he rather tried to make me smile than to pity me, which I definitely preferred. "Get out. I wanna change," I told him. "What? So you're really going somewhere? Wait, is it perhaps a date?" I waved him out of the room. "We're just hanging out. When do we get the chance to see each other, hm?" He nodded, humming. "Sureee. And where are you going if I may ask? Don't tell me it's a cinema date now." I fastly threw a glance at him. "How do you know?" He covered his mouth. "Wow, so it's really a date. She's taking you out trying to get back at you. I bet she reserved last row. Then you share one popcorn and your hands accidentally touch and-" I interrupted him. "I know how these things work. Been there, done that. Now get out."

I stared into the mirror. I brushed my hair to the front with my hands, slightly covering my forehead. "No." I took both hands to create a middle part. I grabbed a hoodie. "No." I took our hoodie. The couple one we owned, which she once got me for my birthday. "No." Wouldn't this be too much? "Who cares? Now I already wear it." I took a pair of black jeans. "This isn't it." I reached out for blue ones. I took the shoes I never wear, which had been still white and clean. I smelled at both perfumes, making my mind up about which one she could like more. I shouldn't care.. But I do. I want to seem okay today. No, be okay. I want her to look at me like a normal guy who is perfectly fine. No, today I was going to be perfectly fine. I can pretent. Did I have to pretent? Can I be-"Ugh, what am I even doing?" I rubbed my face, sighing deeply. Getting up this far had already be challenging. It would be a waste if I just lie back down now.

I cleared my throat, knocking at the door. "Coming!" I swallowed, stepping slightly backwards. She swung the door open, still attempting to get on one shoe while keeping her balance. "We have time," I told her. Did we have time? Maybe not at all. "I know. I just didn't want to keep you waiting too long." She rushed in and grabbed onto her bag. "Isn't it a bit cold?" I questioned, seeing her in only a pair of jeans and a not too warm shirt. "Ah, right." She reached inside, revealing the same shirt I was wearing. "I'll pull it over. It'll be my jacket." I pulled the zipper of my jacket even higher, making it unable for her to realise we're having partner look. Not that it was emberassing.. But wasn't it a bit too overdone? What was I going to plan anyway? At some point I'll have to take it off.

"By the way," I started as we drove off. "When are you gonna get your licence?" She faced me shortly, but remained staring afterwards. "You look nice today." Her sudden compliment threw me off guard. "Hm?" I licked my lips, attempting to keep my eyes on the street. "Why bothering paying for one? I have my taxi." I weakly scoffed at the fact that she probably meant Seo-ha. "You." For a moment my brain shut down, but I forced myself back to reality. I didn't further say a word. "Aren't you curious about which movie we're watching though?" She suddenly questioned. "Not really. After all, I always just go with what you wanna watch." I didn't mean to make it sound that negative. I really didn't mind. At the end I always enjoyed them either way. "I didn't choose anything yet. That's the answer." She faced the window. "Huh?" I watched her shrug. "I wanted us to choose something together."

We got out of the car, having to walk quite a bit to the cinema. We were walking so awkwardly though. As if it was the first time we're going out together. She swung her arms back and forth, looking around. "Oh, look there." She sneaked her arm around mine and when I looked, there was nothing. "Never mind. I thought I saw something," I heard her mumble. I bit my lip, hiding an actual small smile which was about to appear. I let her hug my arm because it indeed was the last thing I minded. "Are you cold?" I questioned. "A bit." She would never admit it. She always told me 'no, I'm good' but wanted me to hug her anyway or lend her my jacket. Was she maybe trying to see how I'd react. My free hand fastly pulled her hood over her head. "What's that?" She questioned, unable to see properly anymore. "You said you were cold." She snorted. "Idiot." It was a stupid thing to say, but I missed her calling me that. It made it seem as if everything indeed was normal.
