He hasn't been contacting me since yesterday. No, actually since two days. And even when I wanted to convince myself otherwise, it just sucked. Was he really too busy? Did something happen? Is he doing alright? I have dailed his number several times, but no answer. I might just even make my way to him today without knowing if he's even home. I sat on my bed with those thoughts, until I abruptly stood up.

My feet guided me to ring at Akaris doorbell. An unfamiliar woman opened. That must be her mom. I only knew that she told me they shouldn't see me, because of her outing. They might get a wrong impression of us, she said. "Who are you?" She friendly question. "Sorry, I'm a friend of Akari. Actually just her best friend, is she by any chance home?" She turned around, opening the door further. Akari stood there already.

"What is it? Why are you here?" I looked around her room. "Sorry for the sudden visit." She shook her head. "It's okay, sit down," she offered, so I took the free option beside her on the bed. I let out a deep sigh before starting to talk. "I think something is up with Minho," I started. "I am supposed to come over to him today, but he hasn't be replying. For two days. Last time I talked to him over the phone, he seemed quite stressed or upset. I knew something was up, but he would of course deny that." She slowly nodded, facing the floor. "I see..." I turned towards her, waiting for advice. "Just visit him. Maybe in person you'll figure out. It's way too complicated on the phone, you always talk around problems or even each other and might end up loosing the context of what is happening. Maybe something important came up, there would be nothing wrong with just checking if he's doing alright." I put on a small smile. "Maybe you're right...I'm just wondering. His phone is turned off. That means it's with an intention that I couldn't reach him. Or maybe the battery's empty, but that would mean something really could've happened." My eyes slightly widened as Akari placed her hand on my shoulder. "I bet there's a logical reason for everything." I bit my lip. "What are you even waiting for Taerim. Go already," she waved me off. "But he still wouldn't be home," I mumbled. "So? By the time you arrive, he probably is." She pushed me towards the door. "Thank you though," I turned around. "Yeah yeah, whatever."

2 hours later

I scanned my phone once again. I have also tried calling him again. I texted him I would be at his apartment. Now I really was and wondered for about five minutes if I should just knock like that. "My god, just do it." I held my hand up, but before I could, it opened on its own. Not to reveal Minho, though...
I couldn't understand the context yet, but my first thought could only be a heartbreaking one, and I'd definitely lie saying I didn't feel my whole stomach pulling itself together. Maybe I was at the wrong door? I scanned the number again..No, couldn't be.

She looked me up and down, probably noticing me almost hurtful confused face. She was pretty.. Really mesmerising. She wore an outfit though that you'd wear to club a...club...
what?
"The girlfriend?" She asked, casually putting on her right shoe. "Huh?", "You. Are you his girlfriend?" She said it like it was nothing. "Sorry?" She gave me a slight critical look before taking deeply air. "Uhm, well thing is..I didn't sleep with him or anything. Even though I wanted to, but he said he was taken. However, the rest should be explained to you by himself." Nonchalantly spoken words, like it was something she does on a daily basis. "You aren't that attractive though, wonder what he has," she mumbled questionable to herself before patting my shoulder. "Whatever, take good care of him..he truly is wasted." Without further words, she left, and I even let her leave just like that. Maybe because I was so overwhelmed by the past minute. I had to get each information in my head sorted, and I honestly forgot it already. I could only stare into the apartment through the open door.

Hesitately, I took a step forward. It smelled bad..like alcohol. I was so lost in each thought that an uncontrollable tear rolled down my cheek. I was just too afraid things might end just like that. I didn't know what happened or why it would happen. It was around 3 p.m., and still, he was asleep. Without a blanket over him, with one shoe on and his jacket on the floor.
"Minho," I mumbled almost in disappointment. 'Explain everything' is what I actually planned on saying next. I didn't know why I turned so soft suddenly.  "Why did you do it..." This sounded less than a question, and I doubt he even heard me. "What's wrong with you? Why wouldn't you tell me?" I felt like emotions I never felt before were slowly overflowing me.
"I thought we trust each other", "Right, why did I do it?" I lifted my gaze at his response, seeing him sitting up.
