31.12 [New years]

It was around 5 p.m., and the sky was darkening in its pretty being. He was talking of a date, which is, in my eyes, simple quality time. Then why did a probably four-digit value dress hang in front of me. I deeply swallowed, analysing it. This was supposed to be on my body in less than ten minutes. I was scared I might rip it when I put it on, thinking I shouldn't be wearing it..that I wasn't playing on such a league. "Ugh fuck, we would he even buy that?" I ran through my hair, deciding to do my make up first. I for sure couldn't pay him back.

My eyes landed onto my phone beside me. The last YouTube video I uploaded with my tutorial, received around 100k views. People actually needed it, not regarding to who I was. They praised me for the techniques and easiness I did it with. It was like a dream coming true how people said it helped them finding a way to actually do it properly.

I turned on lights in front of me, taking care of a proper background.

"Hey everyone. Wow, I couldn't be more glad that so many people benefitted out of my last tutorial, so I'm back. I'm really thankful to each compliment and supporter.
Since last time I went for a decent everyday look, we'll do something more fancy today. Wether you'll be going out, or you're invited to an event you have to dress up for.
These days I've been obsessed with this foundation. It gives you a clean and almost flawless look. It seems like your skin is just originally this way, but don't worry I have a discount code for it so each of you is guaranteed to have the same experience with it..."

"Can you pull the zipper up?" My mom's mouth fell open. "Ah, don't look at me like that." Her eyes travelled all over me. "Are you really my daughter? Taerim, you look stunning." I slightly leaned back at the sudden compliments. "Uhh, thanks", "I've never seen you like this. Why don't you dress up more often, it really suits you." I shook my head. "Do you know how expensive that is? I can't just afford dressing up that often," I denied. "However, close it please," I requested. "Where even is your..date?" She teased. "I don't know. He said he'll give me time to get ready, he had to get something done before."

I stared at the mirror. The dress wasn't too overdone. It had something neat, cute but also literally gorgeous on it. Overall he chose something which matched my taste just perfectly. I felt comfortable in it, and that's what counts.

"No Taerim, you're not wearing sneakers." My mom pulled me fastly along, before I could open the door. "You don't get it, I need them," I whined. "I once spent all my money to get you those pretty shoes for a party." I groaned. "Yeah a party I never went to, because I wasn't actually invited." She searched the whole shelf, before forcing me to slip into them. "I can't even walk like that," I complained before I eyes met with my dad at the door frame. I cleared my throat, blinking fastly. "You look great." I was taken aback by his sudden words, but simply nodded. "Thanks."

"Sorry for taking so long to open the door, I-" I lost my words. He was...handsome. Not beautiful, gorgeous, but truly handsome. Not boyish, but actually grown up. Maybe also a bit of hot. He wore black suit pants with a belt, and a simple black shirt tucked into them. He left one button open though, revealing his whole neck. His hair was slightly parted, allowing me to see his forehead and eyes clearly, which basically left marks all over me. I gulped. "You're beautiful." His hand reached out to hold my waist before he pulled me against him, giving me a soft kiss. I basically wanted to scream how much my body exploded with his move. Just while backing off, his scent drove me crazy. He was using something unusual, but it still fitted his image perfectly.

"Shall we?" He offered me his hand. "Uh yeah. Where are we going though? And how-" His vision landed on something right in front of me. I was confused about how I didn't notice it earlier. "What? You wanna..I mean you can..since when can you..drive a car?" He chuckled. "I've made a license a month ago. Let's just say that this car is borrowed, that's why I had to quickly leave too. But anyway," I fastly blinked. "From who? Are you sure you can drive that? I mean it looks quite expensive," I mumbled. "What? Are you scared I might damage it? Come on, I've already proved you I'm a good driver", "that wasn't a car though"
