I groaned, checking the constant messages I received on a Saturday morning. As soon as my eyes were able to focus, I was suddenly fully awake.

I waited for a few minutes, but he didn't respond back. "Is he for real?" I slowly sat up, stretching myself as I texted him again.

Suddenly my phone screen lit up with an incoming call from. I blinked a few times before clearing my throat. "Yeah?" I questioned. "Can we meet up?" He requested as I tilted my head, still overwhelmed since I just woke up. "Huh? When? And why?", "Because I wanna tell you something and in a Café nearby. Have you eaten yet?" He suggested. "You wanna eat? Uhh, I mean, okay." What was his intention behind this?

I searched for him in the Café before my eyes finally spotted him sitting in the very edge alone. I began to approach, unsure what to expect. "Hi." I sat down across him. "Hey," he responded. "Did you...talk with your parents?" I started, so he nodded. "That's why I met up with you." I began to fidget with my hands, unsure what to expect. "I'll leave to Japan for three years." My heart nearly dropped at the sudden information he just threw into the room. "Huh?" I don't even know why I had hope. I mean I was the one telling him to just do it. He probably has to study abroad and got in trouble.. But three years? Did I really think- My thoughts got interrupted. "Nah, I'm joking," he suddenly said, causing me to blink fast. "What?" He chuckled a bit as a whole meal suddenly got placed in front of me. "What's that?" I leaned back at the lady placing it in front of me. "You haven't eaten yet, so do now. We have time. I'm not gonna leave anywhere, Taerim." He sincerely assured. I was overwhelmed by all the sudden actions happening.

She walked off, so I spoke up. "What do you mean? Am I supposed to eat all of this? And you're not gonna leave? What then?" He seemed quite taken aback by all my questions, but answered. "I'll rewrite the last exam next week..After that, I'll study and get the job done. I won't date Hana, she'll leave to Japan again..I actually was supposed to come along. I will have to work with her in the future though," he explained. "So you accepted the job," I mumbled. "You told me to try. What was I supposed to do?" I huffed a bit. "Come on, eat up." He pointed out, but one question didn't leave my mind. "And...us?" I looked up at Minho who started to lean forward. "Let's date again." I stared into his eyes, which filled with literal stars. "Can we?" He tilted his head. "You don't want it?" I immediately denied. "Only if we are allowed to." He focused on my lips. "We are. You know I'm pretty good at convincing." I couldn't help my upcoming smile. "Are you for real? Weren't they against me?" I questioned happily. "They'll have to accept you at some point, cause I ain't gonna give up on you that fast. You know, it doesn't suit me to not achieve my goal." I scoffed. "Really Lee Minho? You make it sound like you're playing again." He suddenly stood up, sitting down beside me. "I'm not playing. I swear." He suddenly cupped my cheek and pulled me forward into a soft kiss. My whole body melted at the thought of getting to touch and kiss him again.. Was I really not dreaming?

I backed off a bit. "Are you for real?" I reassured only to see him starting to laugh. "Yeah." Such pretty smile..."Well..." I stared forward at my food. "I'm going to eat then," I began, not able to hold my smile in. "You not gonna share it with me?" I gave him a weird side eye. "You told me to eat it all up," while saying so, I prepared some and held it over to his mouth. "And I was the one having a thing for feeding each other?" I pulled it back. "Then not." He grabbed my wrist. "No, no, I'll eat it."

Joy filled me. I was happy. It was somehow so sudden that all changed, but I couldn't complain either.
