Minhos POV:

Just while checking todays date I knew what day it was...Yes, my flight, but not only that.
I gently caressed her cheek. Her eyes hardly opened, so she only moved closer, hugging me tighter. "Baby, it's 8 am," I told her. "Mmh, so? Let's just stay like this until you leave." I weakly smiled, giving her body a squeeze. "Today is someone's birthday...I really want you to meet them before I'll leave."

"Whoever it is...you shouldn't come empty-handed." Her grip around my hand tightened, pulling me aside into a flower shop. "Which flowers does the person like?" She knows it. She knows who I'm talking about. I switched in between her eyes. Before answering. "White roses." She slightly lifted the corner of her mouth, taking out her wallet. "Then let's buy them."

We entered a small graveyard. The atmosphere was even more depressing due to the sudden cloudy sky. It wasn't cold, but it still felt like rain would just pour down any second. I squeezed Taerims hand almost loosing hold of the flowers instead.
No one was taking care of it...no one.
I stepped forward before placing down the roses.
I let myself down onto my knees before fully sitting onto the floor.
"Hi grandma," I softly heard her speak. I lifted my head towards her before she sat down beside me. "I've always wanted to meet you. Happy birthday." I stared at her, but let my gaze lower after some time. "Rain had been her favourite weather. She loved staying inside, watching all her plans and eatable things outside grow." Taerim turned her head towards me. "Maybe it's a birthday special...the weather today," she softly spoke. "Right, maybe." I put on a thin smile. "I'm sorry that I was never able to introduce her to you. You would've liked her." She gave me a gentle smile. "I already do by the things I've heard. I wanna thank her for making you such person..the cooking skills, the part were she told you to always make up your own mind about things and the way she'd always take great care of you.. She was like someone I wish every child to have by their side." I bit the inside of my cheek before quickly looking up to prevent any tears.
"I've never seen her white roses get brown. Before they would wither, there always were new ones immediately. She said they stand for youth and purity, so they also have to stick for their meaning." She kept silent, just listening. "What do I do once those will wither?.. She doesn't like it this way." I swallowed deeply, fidgeting with my hands. "Minho...You can cry." I stopped my movement, facing her. I wanted to say that I wasn't going to, but my body responded first. A hot tear ran down my cheek, fastly dropping onto the floor. It felt unknown and I definitely didn't like it. "It's alright to do so. You would never have to hold back such thing, especially not now." I pressed my lips together, wiping the tear away.

"Thank you," I started. "For coming along." We sat down in a Café and ordered some breakfast.
"I appreciate that you took me with you." She reached out to grab my hand. Instead of just holding it, she tied something around my wrist. I fastly blinked, not loosing focus of it until it was locked. Taerim gave me a small smile. "Just don't complain or anything." I slowly pulled my hand away, observing my wrist. "Now we have partner look." She held her bracelet up before taking a sip of her ice cappuccino. "Taerim, I...I just didn't expect it," I confessed. "I know you didn't. You didn't want me to buy you one, I know that too...but I wanted it. You do a lot for me.. You said you hated having debts, so do I. You're already taking Soonie with you too.. I don't know how I could possibly thank you for that. I mean, it isn't something I expect just anyone to do," she explained. "I'm not anyone though, but your boyfriend. It's nothing I question, but just do. I always wanna make you happy...So I understand that you wanna do it too. I am happy, it's thoughtful..thank you." Her expression softened in relief. "Hmm, you're welcome."

"A few days ago I brought Soonie to a doctor.. She got vaccinated for several illnesses. I have a health certificate..I'm gonna bring that with me to the airport." This took me off guard. "You did that?" I questioned. "Yeah, how else will she be supposed to fly with you? Nowadays you need to show that to get her in." I slowly nodded. "Wait.. did you really think I didn't do any of that?" I shook my head. "No, I expected it...however, I'll firstly go home and grab my stuff...should we meet at the airport? You can come there..I'll be there early enough, so I have time until my check in." She hesitately agreed. "When's your flight again?" I asked. "Four pm, turns out it do is one hour later than I told you yesterday," I responded.
