Minho's POV:
"Club? Shouldn't we go home by now?" I checked the time. It was around 11pm. I really did not feel like going to such place anymore. I did it out of curiosity and with the will to seem cool and mature like the others. "Why not? We wanna hook up with some girls, don't you do that too?" I scanned them. I really thought they were going to be different for at least a moment. "Sorry, I have a girlfriend," I rejected. "You have? Well, I'm not surprised. But still, you probably switch them often.. Just go and have fun, it doesn't mean you need to go there because of the girls," he insisted, pulling me along.
The smell of it, the sound, the atmosphere and the crowded rooms were not pleasing anymore. Somehow they never were, but after you drank a few glasses, everything seemed suddenly fun. I just joined them at some free desk. "You wanna drink anything?" I shook my head. "I have a test tomorrow, I need to be aware," I denied, seeing him snort. "Damn, you really go all in. Weren't you against it first?" I sighed, leaning back. "Doesn't matter anyway...my opinion", "Hey, that's exactly why you should just forget everything today. Just have fun for at least a moment. Don't worry, I'll make sure to bring you back safely." I switched in between his eyes, but ended up saying no again.
Suddenly a random group of girls joined us, basically filling the small spots between the rest of the guys. One sat beside me as well. I didn't know if her intention was about me or the guy who was once beside me. Nevertheless, I did not like it. "Hello," she spoke up through the noise. "Hi," I simply said, avoiding eye contact. I took a sip from my cola, turning on my phone. "Are you not interested in partying?" She questioned, but only received a deep exhale. "No, also not in you." I did not expect her to laugh. "I'm not asking you to be. It's not like we need to be attracted towards each other just to have fun." She tilted her head. "I'm also not interested in fun, sorry," I rejected once again. She sighed, leaning back too. I felt her body warmth almost spreading over me, since she sat that close. "Actually, I'm also not into stuff like this," she started. "My friends just brought me here some time ago and I tend to come back.. Maybe I'm just seeking attention. Just like I do now." I hesitately turned towards her, but her were eyes already laid onto me. Her stare felt weird, unknown..almost empty with a hint of flirty attitude behind it. "I don't know why, but I feel like I wouldn't mind time stopping right now. Your eyes are really pretty," she commented looking like she got lost. I cleared my throat, leaning my head against the wall again. My stare focused forwards. "Why are you here if you didn't come to party?" She asked. "I just came along, I'm just gonna wait," I responded. "If you really would not want it, you could've protested a lot more against it. Those places give you a specific feeling, am I right?" I sighed. "I'm going to the toilet." She didn't move out of the way. "Do you wanna feel that way again? The feeling to just do whatever you want.. Not having to fulfill anyone's wishes or hopes in you. You can be worrying tomorrow morning, but not now." What was wrong with me? I felt weird. It felt like it all came back.. The way I didn't want to live like anymore. I have Taerim, that's my only source of happiness..I don't need fake emotions that will onto disappoint you as soon as they're gone and the consequences are much bigger. "Thank you...I think I'm good though. I'm honest, I actually do feel like going back home now." I stood up. "Hey, we're you going?" A guy, who I came along with, asked. "Have fun. I do not want a headache tomorrow."
As soon as I got back out, I could feel my lungs getting air again. My neck was sweaty, so I took off my jacket, pulling up my sleeves afterwards. I felt the need to do it, and I didn't want to admit. I felt the need to just forget anything and even accept the offer of the girl. I was crazy for thinking that way..or was I maybe just confused since I was in there again?

As soon as I closed the door behind me, I took off my shirt heading straight into the bathroom. I just somehow needed a cold shower now. Well, that was my plan until a ringing phone interrupted me. "Taerim?" I cleared my throat, picking up. "Hey, what's the matter?" I asked. "Oh so you're still awake?", "Yeah, why?" I went through my hair, grabbing a towel. "I just well..I didn't think you were going to pick up, but I was just checking if you're back home," she quietly answered. I could only let out a small laugh. "I'm okay. I was already home for a bit, I'll head to sleep soon", "okay, do that," she said. "Hm, I'll do that," I repeated. Just before I was about to hang up, she spoke again. "Are you alright?" I was slightly taken aback firstly. "Yeah, I'm all good. Are you alright?" She sighed. "This wasn't about me...If you say you're okay though, I'll just believe you. Just so you know, you can talk to me." I wanted to tell her all of my feelings if it was up to me, but I just couldn't. I don't know why there was such a barrier.
