it'll always be one sided

My hair was all over the place, preventing me to see clearly. An arm landed straight up onto my face out of sudden. "Ouch," I quietly cursed, pushing it off me. "Taerim?" The belonging hand touched over the spot which just got hit. "Yeah, who else would I be?" I turned over to my side. "Wait." I felt the matress slightly shaking, assuming she sat up. "I shouldn't be here. Did I fall alseep?" I confused faced her. "You did not plan to?", "nooo" I frowned, my eyes following her. "I told my parents I was just going over to meet you. Not staying the whole night." I wanted to say 'but they wouldn't mind, right? You're eighteen', but then I remembered how unsure they were about me and her.
"Have they texted you?" Akari hit the side of her phone, noticing that it clearly wouldn't turn on. "My batteries empty." With a sigh, she stood up. "I better go now, okay? Thanks for letting me sleep here, I guess." I formed a smile. "Anytime."

As soon as the door closed, I let myself fall backwards again. "I can't fall asleep now anyway," my hand travelled across my bed, searching for my own phone.

No message..what did I even expect anyway? It's not like he didn't say he'd leave me time. Showing up at his shoot? I felt like this day's gonna be something I rather look really, or really not forward to.

I was decent dressed, in any way you could call a perfect fitting pair of jeans and I'd say a pretty shirt decent.
I straightened my already mostly straight hair even more, to prevent it from living its own life on my head. I thought a light rose for lipstick would match the blush I applied before. I'd even put on the cleanest sneakers I owned and took a jacket into my hand, in case it would be colder later. I grabbed my phone and wallet, placing them into a bag and even went out earlier, just to buy her mother flowers. People could guess I'm having a date or would meet my boyfriends parents...but it was nearly that important for me. Akari was important. I couldn't go on without her and for that I'd have to make her parents like me in some kind of way. Was I maybe overdone, I considered.
It didn't matter now anyway.

I pressed my lips together, ringing the bell.
A woman, around her thirties, opened up. The same one as last time. She truly looked so young, especially because of her youthful way to dress and style her hair and make up. I'd dream of looking like this twenty years later. Akari probably has her beauty from her.
"Kim Taerim?" She assured. "Yes, hello," I bowed down. "Oh no need to, please come inside," she offered, before I held the flowers up to her. "I didn't know which ones you like. So I hope those will match." I gave her a small smile. "For me? That's really sweet, thank you." A huge burden already fell off my shoulders.

"I'll make sure to put them in a vase real quick." She left me standing there after I closed the door behind me.
"Taerim." Akari rushed down the stairs. "Hey." She stopped her steps, observing me. "You.." she swallowed. "Really didn't need to make myself look so differently?" I questioned. "I know, maybe it was too-" she cut me off. "No, you look really pretty." I met eyes with her. "Not like I know you usually, but I like it." I let out a huff. "Sounds like you don't like me this way." She hit my shoulder playful. "I just gotta get used to it. Come on, you stand there like a lost child." Akari pulled me along.

"Akari hasn't told me much about you, still I can see that you guys seem to meet often," her mom spoke, while offering me a chair. "Ah, yes" I scanned the room. It was an open kitchen, along with the eating table. It was neat, but also quite traditional. "My husband will be a bit late. He still has to work." I denied by my hands. "That's alright."

Minho's POV

I don't think I've ever made a worse decision. When I come to think of what I hate the most, it's showing off my money.
God damn Mira, why am I doing this for you?
I look like I'm running a business for years with this outfit, definitely works though since people made space for me.
His company is huge, well known even by me. Its mainly about several numbers and really determined to achieve even more by time. It's about money, if I put it in the direct translation.
