32: Buck+Eddie

It was about a month after he woke up from his coma that Buck realized his feelings for Eddie. It took another week before he confessed his feelings to the man. It took less than five seconds for Eddie to kiss him. It took another two months before they told anyone, and even then it was just Carla and Maddie. At work, the two men are completely professional. They began to carpool shortly after getting together, telling everyone that Christopher is making them to save the planet. This white lie is easily believed by the team since Christopher is an incredibly smart kid.

Now, they've been together for six months. The two men walk out together towards Eddie's truck. Buck climbs into the passenger seat, Eddie into the driver's. They both toss their duffel bags behind them into the back seat. Eddie starts the truck and pulls out of the parking lot. The ride is quiet. Eddie plays the radio on a low volume while Buck presses his face against the window and closes his eyes. Ever since the coma, Buck has been getting tired easier and sleeping more.

They pull into the driveway, parking next to Buck's jeep. Eddie climbs out after grabbing Buck and his duffel bags. He grabs the keys out of the side pocket of Buck's bag and unlocks the jeep. He tosses the bag into the passenger seat before relocking the car. He then walks around to the other side of his truck and opens Buck's door. He practically lifts the man from the seat, which pretty much resulted in Buck falling into Eddie's arms.

"Mi amor, you need to walk into the house," Eddie says softly.

"But my jeep! Chris will see!" Buck tiredly exclaims.

"I know, but I'll just tell him I drove you straight home."

Buck nods before the two begin to walk into the house. Eddie gets buck situated in his bed before he walks out to the kitchen. He decides to grab two bottles of water. He looks at the clock on the oven as he passes.

He walks into the bedroom and places one of the bottles on the nightstand next to Buck. He then walks to the other side of the bed, places his bottle on the nightstand, and climbs under the covers. Buck, already asleep, rolls over and attaches himself to his boyfriend. Eddie lets out a soft, adoring, chuckle before sleep engulfs him as well.

Buck wakes up and recognizes that he's in Eddie's room and smiles brightly. He feels Eddie's chest rising under his head. Based on the breath pattern, Buck can tell Eddie is awake. He looks up and presses his lips to his boyfriend's. Eddie smiles as they pull away.

"Sleep well, mi amor?"

"I always sleep well when I'm with you," Buck responds softly.

Suddenly, they hear the front door open. Eddie shoves Buck off of him, causing his boyfriend to roll off of the bed with a thud. Eddie jumps up and looks at his phone, seeing that it is three in the afternoon.

"Okay, I'll go to Chris, you climb out the window," Eddie rushes out.

"Wha-eddie! I am not going through the window!" Buck exclaims.

"Do you want to explain why we were in my room together?"

"No," Buck says lowly, "I'll climb out the window."

"Thank you, mi amor," Eddie says before kissing him.

"I'll get an uber, too, and have it pick me up down the road," with that, Buck climbs/falls out of the window.

Eddie chuckles before leaving the bedroom. He walks out towards his son's laughter, "hey, bud. How was school?"

"It was good. Where were you?"

"I was asleep. I overslept after my shift," Eddie explains, not telling the complete truth.

Carla looks at Eddie with her arms crossed. Eddie sighs and gives her a look in response, signaling to hush.

"Why is Bucky's car here? Where is he?"

"Oh," Eddie thinks for a moment, temporarily forgetting the excuse, "yeah, he was really tired after work so I brought him straight home."

Carla covers her mouth to keep from laughing, seeing Buck's jacket is draped over the couch. She gains composure, "okay, Chris, I have to go. I think I should give a friend of mine a ride."

Eddie glares at her before bursting into a smile, "thanks again, Carla."

"No problem, sweetie. You should text Buck. make sure he doesn't sleep all day," she says with a wink. Eddie pulls his phone out.

To: Mi Amor

We got busted by Carla. She'll give you a ride home. I love you.

From: Mi Amor

I love you too. Carla's a saint.

carla hugs Chris and Eddie goodbye before she walks out of the house. She sees Buck hiding behind her car and bursts out laughing.

"You two are really sneaking around, huh?"

Buck lets out a chuckle and sighs, "not very well, it seems."

"Oh, you two are way too obvious," Carla says with a smile.

A/N: I love this idea. Would love to see this. Especially because Carla's actress has said Buddie will never happen. When we get Buddie canon, I think Carla should be the first to know. Yes, I'm petty.
