71: Buck+Tommy ⚠️⚠️

A/N: I was going to name it the episode title "All Fall Down" but I think this one is better. Send in requests! I am forcing myself to take a break from school because I overdid it and had a really bad migraine.

"All I'm saying is that it would be nice if Christopher would take it easy on me when we're playing on my console," Buck says as he carries his and Tommy's plates to the sink.

"Evan, he's a kid. Besides, maybe you should get better at the game," Tommy responds as he carries the leftover lasagna over.

"That kid has no sense of gaming etiquette," Buck says as he starts to put the lasagna into Tupperware containers.

"Ev, the game is aimed for people his age. Just face it, you're too old," Tommy says.

Buck looks at him with a glare, "do you want me to shove lasagna in your face?"

"Try it," Tommy says with a wink as he pushes Buck against the counter.

Buck, blushing, connects their lips. The two are startled by his phone ringing. He groans as he pulls away and walks over to his phone.

"Hello?" Buck says, slightly out of breath.

Tommy can't hear what is said on the phone, but sees Buck's face fall. He quickly makes his way over to Buck as he ends the call.

"What's wrong?"

"It's Bobby..."

Buck is sprinting through the doors of the hospital, nearly falling over as he takes a turn. He reaches the receptionist and tries to catch his breath.

"I-I-I'm h-here for B-Bobby N-Nash," he says as Tommy catches up to him.

The man at the desk types on a computer, "his wife and kids are in the fourth floor waiting room awaiting news. You can go wait with her," he says.

Buck rushes off towards the elevators. Tommy nods gratefully to the man before catching up, "Evan, you need to breathe."

"How can I breathe? Bobby had a heart attack," is all Buck says as he gets to of the elevator.

They reach the waiting area and Buck rushes to hug Athena, May, and Harry individually. Tommy reintroduces himself as he has only met Athena on a few occasions and has barely met May or Harry.

"I called Chim, he's on his way. Hen and Karen are handling their own stuff but will be here ASAP and Eddie is on his way. Is there any news?" Buck asks.

"No, no," Athena says, her skin still covered in soot from the fire, "last we heard, he's on a ventilator. They're not letting us see him yet," Athena responds, her voice shaking.

May walks over towards Tommy, "how is he?"

Tommy looks over at Buck before turning back to May, "he's scared."

"Yeah," may says softly, "when he was on a ventilator, Bobby never stopped praying. Those two are like long lost father and son."

It's hours later when a doctor comes out to Athena, May, Harry, Buck, Tommy, Chimney, Maddie, Eddie, Hen, and Karen. Jee, Christopher, and Denny are in the corner watching a movie on Eddie's phone. Athena approaches the doctor, Buck, May, and Harry next to her. Buck listens to the doctor speak but is soon tuning the words out one he hears the low chance of Bobby coming off of the ventilator.

He doesn't say anything, just walks away. Everyone stands there watching in shock. Eddie nods to Tommy, who jogs after his boyfriend. Buck had started sprinting, though. By the time he caught up to Buck, he was in the parking garage on the ground sobbing. At this sight, Tommy surges forward and kneels next to Buck, holding him tightly.

"I've got you," Tommy says, "just let go."

Buck's sobs echo through the parking structure as he grips Tommy's sleeve. Tommy pays no attention to the wetness of his shirt from Buck's tears and snot. He just cares about Buck letting his emotions out.
