•Title: "Gwyn returns"
•Requester:
•Warnings: Gwyn (Tk's mom). Also, I wrote her as homophobic because I can't stand her.
•Inspiration: my hatred for her
•Type: angsty fluff..?
A/N: Okay, so like, I'm honestly curious on how people can like her. She heard her son was SHOT and didn't get on a plane immediately. Her son is held hostage, and she STILL got on her plan to LEAVE him. Nah, that isn't a mom.

TK smiles as he and Carlos walk into the fire house. As they reach the kitchen, they receive smiles.
"Hey, Carlos. What are you doing here?" Owen asks when seeing his son in law.
"Hey, Owen. TK and I have some news, and we wanted to share it with all of you together, at the same time," the man says, draping an arm over TK's shoulders.
"Good or bad?" Judd asks with concern in his voice.
"Good," TK says, smiling brightly and a layer of anxiety lifts from the room.
"Well? What is it?" Marjan asks.
"We're getting a kid," Carlos and TK say simultaneously.
"What? That's Great!" Owen says before hugging the two.
"How in the hell are you getting a kid?" Paul asks.
"Right, well, we kind of filled out forms with an adoption agency," TK says softly.
"Wow, guys. That's incredible. You'll love being fathers. I know I do," Judd says, hugging the two.
With that, Carlos leaves for work, leaving TK to answer all the questions.
"So, do you know when you're getting the kid?" Mateo asks.
"At the end of the shift," TK says with a smile.
"So, tell us about them," Paul insists.
"Uh, well, they're a six-year-old girl named Sara. She really likes firetrucks, so she's going to be dropped off here. We've gone to see her about three times a week for about six weeks," TK explains and Owen leaves the room.
"Why did you have to wait so long?" Paul asks.
"Well, we aren't typical parents. I'm an EMT, and my husband is a cop. Not to mention I'm an addict in recovery," TK says softly, "but we get to bring her home today," he says with a bright smile.
"Well, we can't wait to meet her," Judd says, earning nods of agreement from Marjan, Paul, and Mateo.
"Thanks guys," TK says.
Owen walks in from being who knows where, carrying a big pink bag, "hey, son."
"Hey, dad. Where'd you go?"
"Well, Tommy has brought in stuff from her girls to keep here for when we have kids dropped off her from their parents. So, I dipped into the cabinet. I wanted her first welcome gift to come from me," Owen explains.
"Awe, grandpa Owen," Judd says, earning laughs from the team and a glare from the captain.
"Thanks, dad. Hey, by the way, what do you want Sara to call you? She started calling Carlos and I dad and daddy within the third visit. We decided to let her choose, but if you have a suggestion, we can introduce you as it," TK asks.
"No, let her choose. Anyways, I have stuffed animals and a few pairs of pajamas in there for her. I didn't dare get dresses and tutus yet because I didn't know if she liked them," Owen says.
