A/N: Hey! I am so, so sorry I haven't updated in a bit but I just couldn't. Uh, I had a health crisis (nothing too serious, just a mystery illness I've had for 8 months now). I'm also in school, and not doing well at all. Due to my health, I had to return home so was unable to go to classes. Unfortunately, I had a professor that refused to accept dr. notes and so I'm failing classes. Now, back on campus, I was broken up with my first week back and kind of spiraled. Like BAD. Anyways, let's get into the one-shot. Also, this is very similar to another Buddie one-shot.
Couples in this: Buddie, Bathena, Madney, Henren
_____ _____ _____
Bobby, Buck, Hen, Chimney, and Eddie get out of the truck in the station, all hungry. The call had come just as they were about to eat, so they were looking forward to their meal. Buck, however, goes to the bunk room.
"Where's he going?" Hen asks Eddie.
"I don't know, it's weird for him to not eat a meal," Eddie says, trying to hide his concern.
"Is it?" Chimney responds.
"What do you mean?" Eddie asks, his heart rate picking up.
"He hasn't eaten with us in forever," Chimney says simply.
Eddie nods and walks to the kitchen. He grabs a plate and piles food on it. He sighs and walks into the bunk room. He sets the plate on the nightstand next to Buck. Though he knows his boyfriend is fake asleep, he just places a kiss on his head and leaves the room, a frown etched on his face.
"He okay?" Bobby asks, concern laced in his voice.
"Well, he's pretending to sleep, so I doubt it. I'm going to keep an eye on him," Eddie responds.

"No Buck?" Chimney asks softly.
"No, I guess he's sick. He was coughing pretty bad on the phone," Eddie says.
"Still? He hasn't worked in like five shifts. Hell, he is only letting you or Maddie at his house," Chimney responds.
"Yeah, I think it's really just a down moment," Eddie says sadly.
"He gonna be okay?" Chimney asks.
"Yeah, I think. Last night I took all his razors, knives, and anything else sharp," Eddie responds simply, walking away.

"Maddie?" Eddie sits up from his bunk as he answers his phone.
"Eddie, I need you to get to Buck's apartment. I'm leaving now, but you're closer," Maddie rushes out as Eddie hears her grab her keys.
"What? What's wrong?" Eddie asks, grabbing his keys and rushing out of the bunk room.
"He sent me a sketchy text. And with the fact that he's only spoken to you and I, and barely, I'm concerned," Maddie responds as she gets in her car
"Maddie, what did he say?" Eddie asks as he runs down the stairs and out of the station and to his truck, starting it.
"Just how he's sorry, that he hates feeling like this, and he needs to end it," Maddie responds, Eddie finally realizing that Maddie was crying as his own tears fall.
