Buck is standing with Athena after they capture one of the gunmen by the nurses' station. Athena is on the phone with Bobby and suddenly the sound of a gun goes off, the blood in Buck's veins grow cold.

"Eddie," he says before he spins on his heel and begins running. When he reaches the ambulance, Eddie is being checked on paramedics.

"Eddie! are you okay? I heard a gunshot. Did he shoot you?" Buck rushes out.

"Buck, baby, I'm okay, take a deep breath," Eddie says as he stands and lets Buck hug him tightly.

"Please stop scaring me like this," Buck pleads.

"Hey, sweetie, I'm here to grab Christopher," Carla says as Eddie opens the door.

"Hey, Carla. He's up in his room, he'll be ready in a few minutes. Come on in," Eddie opens the door, the woman walking in.

"Thanks again for handling school these past few days," Eddie says.

The two walk together and reach the living room. Carla is shocked to see Buck curled up in a ball, wearing a hoodie that is so clearly Eddie's.

"Hey, Buck," she says softly.

"H-hey, Carla," Buck says as Eddie sits next to him, sighing sadly when the other male is immediately curled into him.

"Hi, Carla. I'm ready!" Christopher cheers as he walks into the room.

"Have a good day, Chris," Eddie says as he gets up to hug his son, Bucky letting out a very quiet whine.

Carla returns after dropping Christopher off at his friends, as previously approved by Eddie.

"Hey, Eddie. I wanted to talk to you," she says softly when seeing Buck was asleep, curled up to him, "about Buck."

Eddie sighs, "what about Buck?"

"He's clearly not doing well, Eddie. You've been doing well after everything that's happened to you, but he's been getting worse when you've gotten better," she says, concerned for her friend.

"You're right. Ever since we were held hostage, he's been glued to me. The other night I went to the bathroom and he woke up and had a panic attack," Eddie says.

Carla nods in agreement and the two quiet down, as Buck had begun to stir. Carla soon leaves, Eddie running his hand through Buck's hair to keep him calm.

"I'm here, Buck. Right here."
