Buck walks into his loft, tossing his duffle bag onto the island chair as he kicks the door shut.

"Who the hell does Eddie think he is? My dad? Of course, he's not my dad. Eddie's nice. And actually likes being around me. But still, how could he possibly send me home? What gives him the right. Well, the threatening to tell Bobby helped. Would he actually? That feels like a breach of confidence. Then again, Bobby already knows I did it in the past, so it's not that much of a breach. At least he didn't tell Tommy. That could've been bad. He probably has a point. Tommy should know. I can't believe I lied to him. God, I hope he'll forgive me," Buck's pacing stops as he pulls his phone from his pocket and starts tapping the screen.

"Hey, Ev," Tommy says as he answers the call.

"Hey, Tommy," Buck starts, "so, I came home from my shift... Could you come over?"

"Yeah, I'll leave in a few."

Buck jumps slightly at the sound of a knock on the door. With a deep breath, he walks over and pulls it open to let Tommy inside.

"Hey, are you okay? You seemed off on the phone," Tommy says as Buck shuts the door.

"Uh, not really," Buck starts as he scratches the back of his neck, "last night, I kind of lied to you."

"What do you mean?"

"You asked me what was wrong when we talked on the phone. I told you I was just tired. That isn't the truth."

"Okay, then what is the truth?"

"My parents figured out about us," Buck says softly.

"Oh," Tommy says, "I take it they didn't throw a parade."

"No," Buck chuckles lightly, "no, they did not. Apparently I'm a disappointment. They were so disturbed that they went to Maddie's for dinner-which she's and at me for since they told her I drove them away."

"Did you tell her what really happened?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"She'd get suspicious," Buck says simply.

"Of?"

"She'd freak out and think I'd get triggered and relapse," Buck says.

"Relapse? W-with what?"

Buck sighs, "cutting."

"Did you?"

"What?"

"Did you relapse, Evan?"

"Yeah," Buck says softly, looking at the floor.

Tommy cups Buck's cheek gently, causing him to look back up, "can I see?"

"Why?"

"Well, I would like to see how deep they are, make sure they're clean."

"I can do that just fine."

"Well, I'm not sure you can," Tommy says, "if the point is to harm yourself, properly caring for them doesn't fit. Please, let me just check."

Buck nods and reluctantly rolls up his sleeves before gently taking off the bandages.

Tommy cradles buck's wrist as he checks over the red lines, tears forming in his eyes. He lets go of Buck's wrists and pulls him close in a tight hug before pulling back away.

"Evan, listen to me, okay?" Tommy starts, "you can always come to me when you feel the need to cut, okay? I don't care what's going on. If I can answer, I will."

Buck nods and allows himself to be led over to the couch. Tommy sits down and pulls Buck onto his lap, holding him tightly.

"I've got you," Tommy whispers as he places a kiss on Buck's forehead.
