A/N: Tommy and Buck are an official couple in this. I hope you enjoy. I watched the newest episode this morning while in the car on my way home from vacation.

_____ _____ _____

Buck walks into his apartment and drops his diffel bag onto the counter before jogging up the stairs. He plugs in his phone-that died during his shift. He walks back down the stairs and reaches the bottom step just as he hears a knock on his door. With a bright smile, Buck opens the door to reveal Tommy leaning against the door frame.

"Hey, handsome," Tommy says as he walks into the apartment.

"Yeah, how handsome can I be after a 24 hour shift?" Buck asks softly as he shuts the door.

"Please," Tommy places his hands on Buck's hips, "you'd be handsome after working a month straight. Your inner beauty shines through to make your outer beauty even stronger."

Buck blushes before connecting their lips in a soft kiss. He pulls Tommy over to his couch-which Tommy helped him pick out. The two of them sit down as Buck grabs the remote. He throws his legs over Tommy's lap, laying his head on the older's shoulder. He starts a movie, curling up in Tommy's embrace. Tommy, with a content sigh, pulls Buck closer and places a gentle kiss on his forehead. The two of them focus their attention on the television, watching the movie in each other's arms. Tommy gently rubs his hand up and down Buck's arm. Just as the movie reaches the climax, a knock on the door causes Buck to jump slightly.

He sighs and stands up with a confusing scowl on his face. He walks to the door, Tommy pausing the movie and standing with him. Buck opens the door, having to take a step back when he sees who is there.

His parents.

"Mom, dad," Buck says in surprise, "w-w-w-what are you doing here?"

"Well," Margaret says as she and Philip walk into the apartment, shoving Buck aside to do so, "if you had bothered to answer your phone when your sister called, you would know exactly why we're here."

"My phone died at work and has been on the charger since I got home," Buck explains, "care to share why you're here?"

"Well, Benjamin, you know, Annabeth's son? He is now dating John Michael's daughter, Amberelle," Margaret starts.

"Okay? And?" Buck questions, trying to follow his parents' train of thought.

"Amberelle apparently follows you on Instagram," Margaret says.

Buck sighs, catching on now. As if he magically appeared, Tommy's presence is now made clear to the two parents.

"Who's this?" Philip asks.

"This," Buck walks over towards Tommy, placing a somewhat shaky hand on his shoulder, "is Tommy."

"And how do you know this Tommy?" Margaret asks.

"Well, since you're here, I think you already know," Buck responds, being met with glares from his parents who hate sarcasm, "fine. I know him from when he worked at the 118 years ago. Now, he is my boyfriend."

Buck has never seen a full body gasp before today. When his mother takes a whole step back as she sharply inhales, Buck's hand falls from tommy's shoulder. Tommy has wondered why Buck never talks about his parents-and shuts down Maddie when she brings them up. Now, it's pretty clear. Thoughts of Buck's younger self growing up in a home with these parents fill Tommy's mind. He sees how Philip glares at his son, his heart breaking for Buck.

"Oh, Evan," Margaret says, her voice softening, "why?"

"I like him," Buck says, his voice quieter.

Tommy wants nothing more than to hold Buck in his arms but he can't risk making this worse for Buck. He wants Buck to take things at his speed right now.

"How could you do this to us again? You know how hard your father and I worked to give you and Maddie a good life. How could this be how you repay us?"

"Mom, dad, it was great seeing you as always, but I just worked a 24 hour shift so I just want to spend a nice night in with my boyfriend," Buck says, guiding his parents out of the apartment and locking the door behind them.

"Hey," Tommy says after he sees Buck stare at the door for a moment.

Buck turns silently, "I'm sorry."

"For what, Evan?" Tommy asks softly as he uses Buck's hips to turn him around.

"That you had to see that," Buck responds.

"Oh, babe," Tommy cups Buck's cheek with his hand, "don't you dare apologize for your parents being small minded. It's their problem."

Buck nods softly, seemingly in a trance.

"Come on," Tommy leads Buck back to the couch.

Tommy stretches his one of his legs out on the couch with his back against the arm. His other foot is resting on the floor, also stretched out. Buck sits in hetween his legs, laying his head on his chest.

"I've got ya, Evan," Tommy whispers as he plays the movie, placing a kiss on the top of Buck's head.

A/N: Okay, so this is kind of short but I just wanted to celebrate Buck+Tommy. TBH, I lowkey (highkey) think they're adorable.
