Jefferson woke up with Sam cuddled into his side, still sleeping peacefully. He smiled and kissed her forehead, pulling her closer. He watched her sleep, running his fingers through her slightly tangled hair.

She let out a soft whimper as she started to wake up, her eyes fluttering open. Slowly, she lifted her head, smiling at his blue eyes staring back at her.

"Morning." A soft smile spread across his face. Instead of a "good morning," she cupped his face, pulling him in for a kiss. He chuckled against her lips, hands moving down to her waist to bring her closer.

She finally pulled away, the smile never leaving her face. "I'd love to stay here all day, but I have to go to work." She sighed as she moved away from him. He groaned, not wanting to let her go.

"Do you have to?"

"Yes. I promised my friend Ashley that I'd help her go baby shopping." She laughed, standing up from the bed. He whined and followed her, offering to take her home. "Thanks, I wouldn't have enjoyed walking through town only in a man's shirt."

He laughed, shaking his head as he put some clothes on. "Do you want me to make breakfast?"

"Sorry, I'm running late already." She answered. He nodded and brought her downstairs, waiting as she put her heels on and grabbed her dress. She then followed him out to his car, getting in the passenger's side.

As he pulled up into the driveway of her house, she pulled the end of the shirt, regretting not bringing any extra clothes. He stopped and got out, telling her to stay there so he could open her door.

"Thank you." She said as he covered her while she ran inside. Unbeknownst to them, Sidney was watching and taking pictures of the two. Jefferson followed Sam inside, closing the door behind them.

She quickly went upstairs and changed, leaving him in her living room. She changed into an off-the-shoulder blouse with a leather jacket, leggings, and a pair of knee high boots. As she ran a brush through her hair, knowing she wasn't going to have time to style it.

"Thank you so much." She let out a sigh of relief as she went back downstairs. "I don't know what I'd have done if I had to walk all the way to town in just that shirt." He smiled as she walked towards him.

"Of course. I wouldn't make you walk all the way to town anyway." He told her. "Even if you were in actual clothes." She smiled and kissed his cheek, muttering a "thank you." A grin spread across his face as he hugged her closer, the memories of the night before coming back to him.

She pulled away abruptly, looking over at the clock. "Shit! Now, I'm really late." She ran for the door, him soon following. Locking the door, she ran to her car. She paused at her door, looking up at him. "I had fun last night. I hope we can do it again soon."

"I had fun, too. I'll see you soon?" He smiled. She nodded and got in her car, quickly driving to her shop.

The rest of the day, she spent helping customers and showing Ashley all the things she needed for Alexandra. As soon as she got off, she met with Graham at Granny's, watching him throw darts.

"Nice shot, chief." Sidney said as Graham hit the deer target again. He looked over at Sidney as Ruby brought over two shots. Sam thanked her as she took one, shooting it down quickly. "I bet you twenty bucks you can't do it again."

"You know who you're talking to, right?" Sam asked, turning in her chair to face him. He shrugged as Graham downed the shot, placing the glass back on the tray Ruby was holding. He then took a third dart and lined it up with the face of the deer, hitting it perfectly. "He never misses."
