Road to Spider-man (The Road Continues)

(Training and Tinkering arc) Part 1

A few weeks before The Spook:Origins

Peter: "Ow!"

Peter immediately recoils in pain as Y/n holds out his outstretched palm that is emitting orange electricity. 

Peter: "Woah, Bio-organic electricity on top of going invisible!? That is so cool!"

Y/n: "Yeah...only one problem though"

Peter: "Hmm? What's that?"

Y/n then goes to reach for his phone, only for his bio-electricity to spontaneously activate and short-circuit the phone.

Y/n: "See what I mean?"

Peter: "Can't you just, well, control it?"

Y/n: "Trust me it's a lot harder than you think. I don't even know where to start"

D.A.R.C: "I've taken the liberty of giving you a biometric scan"

Peter and Y/n turns to Y/n's computer where D.A.R.C is currently stored in.

Peter: "What did it say?"

Peter sat in Y/n's chair and began to read D.A.R.C's findings.

D.A.R.C: "It would seem that the the gamma radiation that are present in Y/n's bloodstream has doubled since wielding the Infinity gauntlet, thus giving birth to his new powers"

Y/n: "Huh...no one told me the gauntlet had gamma radiation"

Peter: "Wait, so you just used something without thinking of the potential consequences?"

Peter turns from his seat to look at Y/n, only for him to be nowhere in sight.

Y/n: "Hey, the world was at stake...again. So I'm sorry if I didn't have much time to think thoroughly"

Peter: "Uhh...Y/n?"

Y/n: *sigh* "I'm invisible again, aren't I?"

Peter: "Yep"

As Peter got up from Y/n's desk, Y/n could be heard grunting before suddenly reappearing out of thin air. 

Peter: "Here!"

Peter went over to Y/n's nightstand and tossed the power dampener Tony had made over to Y/n who places it back over his wrist. Right as the device was secured, the orange electricity begins to dissipate as his powers began to regulate.

May's voice: "Food's ready!"

Peter: "Coming May!"

Peter and Y/n exit their room, walking through the hallway. Along the way the house itself looked to have different lay out and different decorations. 

May: "Come on, I just finished setting up the table"

Peter and Y/n made it to the dining area and took their place around the table, sharing grace, before digging in. 

May: "So how're your powers?"

Y/n: "Oh, the usual. Still can't control them"

May: "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, Honey"

May leans over and gave Y/n a kiss on the forehead.

May: "How long ago since this first started happening?"

Peter: "I think...a good 2 weeks"

Y/n: "3, actually. I haven't been going to therapy in a week"

May: "How is Dr. Christine?"
