(A Very Spidey Christmas arc) Part 6

Y/n: *groans* "Okay, remind me again what we're gonna do?"

Y/n began to massage the soreness out of his body as Peter and the others set up around the dungeon-like room Strange had put them in.

Peter: "Essentially, Doctor Strange asked us to go around, searching the net for any inter-dimensional beings that had come here because of the failed memory-wiping spell you and him cast"

Y/n: "Right...listen, about the whole spell thing-"

Peter: "It's cool, Y/n"

Y/n: "Really?"

Betty: "YEAH!"

From the other side of the room, Betty and Gloria were moving boxes of possible medieval torture devices as Miles set up some computers.

MJ: "I will admit...I definitely owe you an apology"

Y/n: "You do?"

Gloria: "She mistook your counterpart as yourself"

Betty: "I mean, we didn't know beforehand"

MJ: "But I know now, and I was wrong. You were...just trying to fix things. So I'm sorry"

Miles: "So...maybe just run it by us next time, you know? That way, when you're thinking, "Hey, I'm about to do something that could... break the universe", we could like, help you"

Peter: "Mh-hmm. Maybe workshop something, or...brainstorm ideas. It's what I'm here for, remember?"

Y/n looks amongst his friends before nodding with a smile.

Y/n: "Right. Thank you, everyone"

With their pseudo-meeting concluded, everyone went to their setup and began to search the web for any leads to their next variant. 

Y/n: "So did Stephen say anything about what we're looking for"

Miles: "Well, going off what we've seen so far...

Gloria: "We got nothing"

Betty: "OH! We can search for any news about Y/n"

MJ: "It's not like he isn't mainstream. We could search up any uncharacteristic articles about you and we'll work from there"

Y/n: "Uncharacteristic how?"

Betty: "WOAH! WOAH! WOAH!"

MJ: "What? Found something, Betty?"

Betty: "Well...I found SOMETHING, that's for sure"

Y/n: "Lemme see!"

Betty: "No!"

Right as Y/n goes to peek at what Betty has found, she quickly covers her device from Y/n.

Betty: "Trust me, you do NOT wanna see what I've found"

Y/n: "Gimme it!"

Betty: "NO! Trust me, it's for your own good-!!"

From behind, Gloria managed to swipe the device from Betty, much to her horror.

Gloria: *reads search bar* "'Spider-man acting up'?"

Betty: "NO! DON'T SCROLL DOWN!"

Her warning fell on deaf ears as everyone stood behind Gloria as she scrolled down, only to exclaim out of shock.

Everyone: "OH MY GOD!!!"

Y/n: "Holy shit...I really do be ACTIN' UP!"

Miles: "I'm surprised there's so much"
