Eli was sitting up on Jessica's bed. He had been, since he came back from the party and didn't find her there, but had fallen asleep at some point, only to wake up to the disgusting memories of last night.

"Hey handsome... will you please quit playing hard to get?" Aaliyah muttered as she walked over to Eli.

He had just used the bathroom on the second floor and had gone into one of the bedrooms to closely look at a picture of two cute puppies. He was tipsy, maybe even a little drunk, so he found the picture to be very amusing and comforting. It reminded him of Jessica and Kylo, of how much Jessica loved her new puppy, as well as how much Eli was in love with her.

He heard someone walk in behind him and immediately thought it was his girlfriend but, when he turned around and came face to face with Aaliyah, he rolled his eyes.

She had been acting weird. What freaked Eli out the most was the way she had spoken to him on the campus restaurant that day, as if she had never actually seen or talked to him. It didn't sit right with his soul that the girl could comfortably be around him and the group after she had tried to kiss him in his car, and even less that she kept throwing suggestive looks at him when she knew he was taken.

And she did it in front of Jessica too!

"I'm not playing. I have a girlfriend and, even if I didn't, you're not my type. Sorry, not sorry" Eli answered.

He was drunk, but not too drunk to stand his ground. Aaliyah grabbed his arm and rested her head on his shoulder.

"I know, I know..." she sighed and rolled her eyes. "It's just that I could give you so much more than-" Eli cut her off by shrugging away and giving her a thoroughly disgusted side glance.

"I don't need any more. Jessica has it all" he asserted.

Thinking of his girlfriend made him smile and look back at the picture of the puppies and, suddenly, Aaliyah didn't exist.

But she stepped in front of him, popping his happy bubble and making him cross his arms.

"Just kiss me and you'll see that she might just have nothing to offer..." the girl said. She walked closer to Eli and scowled at him as she spoke. "Compared to me."

Bro, this girl better chill talking about my woman like that...

"Shu-" Eli bit his tongue, uncrossed his arms and deeply sighed. "Be quiet, Aaliyah, and go away."

"Make me" she dared. She licked her lips, winked and him and smirked.

Eli crossed his arms yet again but didn't step back. He was so close to walking off but he felt like he needed to end the girl's delusional thinking for the sake of his relationship. So, he stayed in his spot, staring Aaliyah down to see if she would back off.

When she didn't, Eli uncrossed his arms and was going to walk away, but he suddenly felt her arms wrap around his waist and her lips touch his.

The liquor delayed his response and it also made Jessica pop up in his mind. He missed her and wanted to cuddle with her at that moment so, in his head, the lips he started kissing back, the face his hands held and the body he pushed onto the bed were Jessica's.

But something about the whole thing was off.

Jessica never immediately slipped her tongue in his mouth and she never even rushed the moment. Her body didn't feel like it was the right size or the right amount of soft, and there was no tongue piercing or cocoa butter scent either.
