Hyunjin sighed as he closed the door.
Seungmin had left, after they had exchanged a few more words. Mainly Seungmin telling him not to lead Felix on.
Carefully sitting back down on the bed he looked at Felix. He looked so peaceful compared to earlier when he was picking at his nails.
"You deserve better than me," Hyunjin whispered.

Felix woke up in his room the next morning.
He was disappointed. Sitting up, he notice a paper on the nightstand.
Grabbing it he read it. He scoffed and crumbled the piece of paper.
Grabbing his phone he opened up the chat he had with Gaeul, Yuna, and Jeongin.

The case I was on with professor Hwang is over
So I am going to go to Chicago for a bit to be with some family
I know you guys are going back to Jersey today so if he asks just tell him that you don't know where I am

Felix got his things together and left the hotel room. He had already gotten a ticket while he was chatting in the group chat.
Was this a smart idea? No, it wasn't, but Felix needed to just get away.
He needed to figure out what he wanted and needed.
He thanked the driver as he got out of the car.
Maybe this trip would be good.

"One…two…three… we're missing a kid. Where is Felix?" Shuhua questioned.
"He left before we woke," Yuna said.
"He… where did he go?" She questioned.
"He just said out of town for a bit to visit someone," Gaeul said.
Shuhua looked at Jeongin who was typing away at his phone.
"Jeongin, are you texting Felix?"
Jeongin looked up and shook his head, "Seungmin, is coming to Jersey in a few weeks, we are making plans for a date. Oh, here, this is the message Felix sent in our chat this morning," he said, showing Shuhua the messages.
Shuhua took a deep breath.
This is not going to go over well with Hyunjin.
