The small girl jump on the bed with a giggle, "It's Christmas!" She said.
"Five more minutes, darling," Hyunjin muttered.
Viola rolled her eyes, "Get up! It is Christmas,"
Felix sat up and stretchrd.
Viola's eyes followed his arms, "What are those?" She asked.
Felix tilted his head, "What is what, hun?"
Viola pointed to Felix's arms, "What is on your arms?"
Felix's eyes widened, he forgot he fell asleep in just a t-shirt.
Hyunjin sat up quickly, "Vi, baby, go out to the living room, daddy and Lixie will be out in a minute," he said.
She was confused but did as she was told.
"I didn't want her to see them…" Felix muttered.
"Hey, it's fine, she's seen Juni's scars" Hyunjin said softly.
"No it's not,"
"Angel…"
Felix pursed his lips, "It's just not something I wanted her to see at least not mine,"
Hyunjin held Felix's hand and gave it a light squeeze, "I'll go get you a sweater,"
The younger nodded.
Doon after Felix and Hyunjin were in the living room.
Viola was watching Gilmore girls and munching on a sugar cookie, with the plate in her lap.
"What are you doing?" Hyunjin asked.
"Eating cookies and watching Gilmore girls," she said.
"Are you supposed to be doing that?" He asked.
"Cookies!" She exclaimed.
Hyunjin chuckled, "Are you ready to open presents?"
Viola nodded happily.
Hyunjin sat on the couch Felix sitting next to him hesitantly, Hyunjin held his hand.
One by one Viola opened her presents, most of them being toys or books she had mentioned she wanted.
"Lixie, this is for you," she said, handing Felix a couple wrapped presents.
Felix smiled softly, "Thank you, sweets,"
Viola smiled, "Open them," she urged.
Felix carefully unwrapped the present it was a long red velvet box.
He smiled softly when he saw the pretty silver charm bracelet in it. It already had three charms on it.
A little cat, a ferret, and a Eeyore charm.
"It is beautiful,"
"Vi, picked out all the little charms," Hyunjin said.
"I love them, Vi,"
"The kitty is you, the ferret is dad, and I chose Eeyore because I like him," Viola said.
Hyunjin's brows drew together, Viola had never watch Winnie the Pooh before.
"This one is from me," Hyunjin said.
"Tiny boxes scare me at the moment," Felix joked.
"Don't worry it is nothing to be scared of,"
Felix hummed and opened the present.
It was a key.
"If this is a key to an airport security box where you are secretly hiding creepy files, I am going to have to turn it down, because those movies never end well,"
Hyunjin chuckled, "It is a key to here, so you're not having to wait for me to get home to come over," he said.
Felix smiled and kissed Hyunjin on the cheek, "Thank you,"
"Two more presents," Viola said.
"These are from Lixie," Hyunjin said.
Viola was quick to open the present.
"It's so pretty," she said.
"I remember you saying that you wanted a necklace like mine so when I saw this one, I had to get it for you, I think this one is much prettier," Felix said.
"I've never seen you where a necklace like this," Hyunjin said.
"She found it when I was watching her the other week,"
Hyunjin nodded.
"Your turn!" Viola said, poking her dad's arm.
Felix bit his lip as Hyunjin began to open the box.
"Should I be worried? Because this is a medium sized box with a bit of tissue paper in it," Hyunjin said with a soft chuckle.
"Maybe a little, I don't know. It up to you when you see it," Felix said, nervously wringing his hands.
Hyunjin pulled out the top layer of tissue paper revealing the contents. A paper and folded cloth.
He picked up the folded cloth, it unfolding when he did. It was a small dinosaur onesie.
"Are you sure you didn't mix up the presents?" Hyunjin joked.
Felix didn't answer.
Hyunjin nodded and picked up the paper and read it.
Each passing second Hyunjin didn't say anything, Felix got more nervous.
"When…" Hyunjin took a breath, it was hard for him to figure out what he wanted to say.
There was an influx of emotions.
"Is this real?" He asked.
"I decided to humour Yunjin and go to the hospital because she didn't think it was a stomach bug, turns out it wasn't. I assume it was sometime around the first," Felix said.
"We're going to have a baby?"
Felix nodded.
Hyunjin smiled, "Seems like that small box may come soon,"
"No, I love you a lot, but that I'm not too ready for," Felix said.
"Wait, I'm confused," Viola said.
Felix and Hyunjin laughed softly.
This would be interesting to explain.
