Words couldn't explain how happy Luca was. He and Adele were having twins... Two babies, and he knew there were more to come. That's if Adele allowed it. Luca always wanted a big family, but given his age, he didn't know if he would live to see it. Living to be his father's age was a blessing in the mafia because most die long before age fifty, and Axel was right at the mark, but Luca couldn't think about that. He needed his mind to be on his wife and the two babies she was carrying while his mind wondered what they could be. He wanted girls... yes, he knew most men wished for boys to be their first child, but they were also mommy's babies, but when your mother is missing from the picture, most become daddy's boys, as did Luca, and he was a spoiled one as that.

However, he pushed that to the back of his mind. Luca had other things planned. He had a surprise for Adele, although he knew how much she hated them. So, upon reaching the top floor, Luca pulled Adele to him like a happy little boy, pulling her towards the stairs to their room. He wanted to make love to his wife to say thank you for being his and giving him a special gift. Adele needed to know she was all he needed now and forever.

"Luca, where are we going?" Instead of answering, he smiled at her, knowing how much she loved his smiles, and he promised to do more for her. Little did she know it was easy since she was the one that made him happy and gave him a reason to smile each day. Waking up and looking at her beautiful face in the morning made him smile, and he loved how she came undone each time he did it. Therefore, he brought her to him and whispered in her ear. 

"I have plans to hold you in my arms and make love to you for hours. I want to show you how much I appreciate what you have done for me... for us." Adele slowly turned to him as he gave her a passionate kiss that weakened her knees, causing her to pull away to fan herself. He had to let her know how much he loved her, but knowing she loved him the same gave it meaning. He could only hope nothing would ever change it.

"You know I'll make love to you whenever Luca, but..."

"I don't care." He said quickly, making Adele sigh but nod her head. "Okay, just don't overdo it. Your wounds are still new, but I would like to celebrate later. I want to go somewhere with just us." She smiled, but Luca had to pull away to look into her eyes. A long, deep sigh came after because he knew what she wanted, which he hated with passion. Adele wanted to go shopping, and usually, she was scared someone would take a picture, and it would get back to her sorry excuse for parents. Luca knew she had nothing to worry about. The world knew her as someone different still; he refused to go shopping, but he would do anything for this woman before him.

"Anything for you, Meine Liebe," Luca smiled, knowing he would regret it later. However, Adele swiftly pulled him into a hug, which hurt like hell, but her kiss made it better. So, he quickly took over the situation by pressing her back against the door of their room, attacking her body wherever he could with his lips as he opened the door before spinning her around. As Luca said, he had a surprise for her; while they were in the clinic, Luca had Emma decorate their room, but he had to let Liam in on the plan. It was Liam's job to pretend Irene needed extra blood work and tests so Emma could do what she needed.

Luca had to say Emma outdid herself, and Adele was flabbergasted. Pink and white balloons were everywhere. There were also rose petals and a bear. He could tell Dele loved it. Without a word, she turned to him with a smile before walking over to the bed, touching one of the petals as she hugged the giant bear in the middle.

"Oh My God Luca! How did you do all of this?!" She asked excitedly as he shrugged, walking to her for a kiss. "I have my ways, Baby." He smiled while she slightly hugged and kissed his neck. "I love it. I know I say I hate surprises, but yours are always the best. Thank you— but why pink and white?"
