The Boss

"Marry Me?" Luca said as Adele looked down at the man kneeling in front of her. It sounded ridiculous, but Tilly's on the floor behind him look romantic and made Adele felt like she was in a movie, making it hard to hold back her smile as she shook her head. "Boy— I thought I already agreed to marry you." At least, she thought she did, so Adele didn't think this was necessary.

"You did, but I thought doing this the right way would be nice. You deserve the world, Adele, starting with this engagement ring." Adele was feeling all kinds of emotions at the moment. Luca made her feel loved, but this was also funny. He was something else... something she couldn't describe. He killed someone in front of her, then dropped to his knee with a proposal. Nothing can compare to this. So, Adele smiled and nodded at the crazy fool before her.

Luca took her against her will and told her he wanted her to become his wife. Although it was partly her fault, he had beaten her, killed someone, and proposed... and she liked it. What the hell was wrong with her? Could she be in love with Luca? Or was it Stockholm Syndrome? It had to be Stockholm because this wasn't right, but she wanted this man. "Yes, Luca. I'll marry your crazy ass."

Again, Luca smiled, melting her heart as she felt it skipped a beat when he slipped the beautiful ring on her finger. After, he stood and kissed her lips softly. It was hard to say, but his smile alone made her fall in love with him. Adele must have been crazy, or her thoughts were right. "Thank You." Why was he thanking her? It wasn't like she had a choice in the matter. Still, it made her feel good.

"For...?"

"Everything that's to come." He said as his dad, Erik, and Kellan showed up about five minutes later. All were late... where were they when this stupid bitch made her way to their room? Adele thought this was a mafia, but they were never on duty as they should be. First, with the nasty asshole who had his hands all over her, now with the dead bitch lying on the floor. As Adele recalled, Luca told them not to let her back into the house. They could have avoided all of this if they had listened. Tilly could still be alive. Although Luca suspected this to be his cousin's doing, Adele felt it was someone else.

Something felt off, but it wasn't her place to say, but looking at the woman's dead body made Adele want to kick the whore. She was lucky Dele respected the dead. Although Luca must have had read her mind... kicking her as he stepped over her body. Damn, Adele wanted to do it now, but she couldn't bring herself to do so.

"This is the bullshit that pisses me off. Last I checked, I gave you bitches a direct order, and one of you defied it. NOW FUCKING TELL ME; HOW THE FUCK DID THIS BITCH GET BACK IN MY MUTHAFUCKING HOUSE?! ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!" Luca screamed, making Adele jump as the others looked around at each other until someone spoke.

"It was Johan, sir." One of them said. Adele knew he made a mistake. Anytime someone asked a question like that, and you answered. It was a recipe for disaster. "We have snitches, I see," Luca spoke as he held his gun to the man's head.

"LUCA, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT!" Dele cried out before she could stop herself. What was wrong with him? Although Adele thought it was wrong to answer, the man was answering his question. Luca could have listened to what he had to say instead of putting the gun to his head ready to shoot.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP, ADELE!!!" His tone reminded Adele of the first day she awoke in his home. Luca sounded evil, which caused her to jump in fright. She didn't know what to expect or where his state of mind was. So, carefully, she backed away, trying her best to get back into the room, but he did something baffling. However, Luca grabbed her arm, pulling her back to him while he warned her to stay where she was.

Axel's attention was drawn to the horror in her eyes, prompting him to walk towards them. Luca's quick hand motion stopped his father, who looked at her with regret. At least Axel tried to help, she thought, but Adele knew Luca was mad... her heart started to race. Dele was afraid of what Luca had planned, and the thought made her tremble.
