Finally, Mila was dead, and it seemed unreal to Victor, but it meant no more whining about how much Axel loved her. She was slow-witted and couldn't see it was all a fantasy. The good thing was that she was out of his hair for good, but he still had a problem: Saxon and the fact Luca sent him the body. What was he supposed to do with it? Plus, Victor didn't want it. Therefore, he did the next best thing: cut her into pieces and burn the rest.

Mila didn't understand if Axel was so in love with her, she shouldn't have had to drug and rape him. The to blame everything on him was wrong. Yeah, Victor may have disliked Luca for an extended period, but that was in the past, and it was never to a point where he would have done the shit Mila had done, and unlike her, he had grown from the craziness. They weren't kids anymore, and he understood reality from fantasy. However, Adele was a different story. She was taken from her home and family.

Victor wanted to give Adele her old life back, but another problem arose. He found out Adele was pregnant, and no matter how much he thought he was doing the right thing. However, he couldn't see himself taking Luca's children from him. The man had his problems, but one thing stood out the most— Luca loved Adele which he realized after he sent whatever her name was to Cologne to seduce Luca, which ended horribly. Then and there, Vic realized Mila had lied, so he had to put his other plan in motion—

Telling Adele's family, she was still alive and well.

They deserve to know if nothing else and there shouldn't be any harm in that. At least this was what he told himself, so Victor picked up his phone and dialed Adele's mother's number, which had been given to him by one of his contacts. After, he waited patiently for her to answer. Vic never planned on telling them where Adele was, but he wanted them to know she was alive and well. However, he should have thought his plan through. Especially after it took him six times before an older lady finally answered.

'Hello?'

'Mrs. Sallow, my name is Victor, and I'm calling about your daughter Adele.' After mentioning Adele's name, the line went silent for a few moments before the woman spoke again.

'Why would you be calling about my daughter? Adele... Adele died in a house fire over a year ago. I don't know what kind of game you are playing, but please don't call my number again—'

'Mrs. Sallow, she's alive....'

'Barbra, it's a Sunday; who the fuck are you talking to on the phone?' A man yelled in the background. The line went silent a second time, and Victor thought she had hung up until she spoke again.

'It's a man claiming Adele is still alive—'

Quickly, the line went dead, leaving Victor confused. He just informed them their daughter was alive. Although Adele's mother seemed surprised, her father didn't say a word, and he was sure he was the one who hung up the phone. Vic needed to get to the bottom of this, so against his better judgment, Victor called Barbra again only to learn he had been blocked.

"Not strange at all... hell who am I kidding? All this is strange. I told this woman her daughter was alive, and as soon as she mentioned it to her husband, he forced her to hang up—"

"Are you talking to yourself again?"

"Oh, my fucking gosh! Why are you still here?" Victor sighed as Scarlett made herself known. The woman was a good fuck but not girlfriend material. Scar didn't know the meaning of faithfulness or how to leave someone alone. She and Mila were a lot alike but different. Scarlett didn't drug and rape people because she thought they loved her.

"Sorry, I was trying to be helpful."

"Ja, I know, but I have this handled. Now, if you don't mind, I have something to do." Victor was trying to be nice since Scar did help him, and he was leading her on. It was wrong. However, Scar smiled as she gently touched his shoulder and left after he used his burner phone with a South Carolina number to call Adele's father.
