Ambushed

Adele and the others put their focus on finding Jaxon since they had yet to learn who was after them besides Lina and Hans. After receiving their dogs' heads and the secrets coming to light, she was frustrated, but they could only focus on one thing at a time. Today, it was Jaxon, and after some research, they learned the twins shared a lot, except for the craziness and hair. While Saxon liked his hair short and it slick back, Jaxon's hair was long and wild most of the time. The two also shared the same tattoos, and of course, they looked exactly alike.

"What do you plan to do whenever we find him?"

"From what we have learned, there is no reason to kill him. The smart thing should be to take him in, but Uncle Otis has to agree, and we need a blood test to confirm he's related to us. Still, he needs to get away from those assholes before he ends up dead. All I know is I want them dead, but not before I make them beg to die." Adele understood, and like Luca, she wanted them to pay, especially since the shit was over a company. They shot her over a fashion house. She was pregnant, and it could have killed her and their son.

Thinking about the mess made Adele angry as she rubbed her back where she was shot, but her phone ended up distracting her. She sighed after seeing Victor's name appear, which meant one thing. He was crying about Scarlett or begging for someone to come save him, but he needed to learn what normally came with having a child. Although Vic thought the baby wasn't his, everyone else claimed he looked just like him. On the other hand, Luca disagreed for the fun of it, causing an argument as he claimed the baby didn't look biracial as if he did.

"Victor again?"

"Yeah, begging for someone to rescue him from Scar."

"Do as I did. Tell him no one can save him; only the DNA test can. He better hope God is on his side and not the devil... which we all know it's the devil walking alongside us. However, the best thing for him to do is get custody and kill her ass. The way I see it is she served her purpose even if it isn't his." He was right, but Adele didn't think Scar should die, but then again, she understood him. Scarlett was nothing but trouble.

In the woman's mind, she thought Victor would marry her or fall in love after their son was born. Yet, Victor thought she was crazy. Adele saw something different. In his weird way, Vic loved her but never said or showed it. In the end, it made Scarlett go full-blown crazy.

"Hey, have we figured out who the girl is that comes over with Mackenzie? I think she has the hots for your Dad. We should warn her before Ma Obi kills her." She said, making Luca frown as he looked up at her. Before now, his attention was on the twins, Tyler, and the dogs while she sat on the bed combing Josie's hair. She knew what he was thinking, and Adele laughed because now he looked like he wanted to kill the woman. Still, she noticed he missed his dogs because he had taken Blu and Teddy from Josephine. So, Adele had been looking to buy more for a surprise, but she didn't know what he would like.

"Yeah, that's not my problem... but her name is Rylee, and she's Mackenzie's older sister. It slipped my mind to tell you who she was."

"Really, then Kenzie lied. She told Nova she was her stepmom. Why would she lie? That's the very reason I don't trust the hoe. She's getting in Victor's head, and every time we turn around, she starts shit with Scarlett. In case you haven't noticed, Scar's attitude problem didn't start until she showed up."

Luca knew she was telling the truth, but he hummed and continued to play quietly with the children in thought. "I thought about that, but the girl's background is clean... but it won't stop me from digging. I agree it's strange that she sought us out at the beach and showed up here weeks later. I voice my concerns to Vic. It's up to him with what he wants to do with them." Adele shrugged, but she was worried about Victor. She didn't want him to be hurt by someone, probably with him because of his money, but Luca was right.
