Out of all the people Adele could have accused, she chose Mila. Yes, Mila was sketchy, but she was his family. There was no way she would turn against her family. Against the man who raised her... against him. Luca refused to give in to his suspicion. Mila would never do anything to hurt him or Adele— at least, he thinks she wouldn't. The woman was the first person Adele made friends with. Why would she do something so fucking ridiculous? Mila had her rough edges, and she did stupid shit like bringing Scarlett to their baby reveal, but the woman meant no harm.

"Really, Adele, you'll accuse the first friend you made here. I said to be aware of your surroundings, not reach for stupid ass shit because of one thing she did."

"Luca, stop and fucking think for a damn minute! You said it yourself, something was fishy with Mila, and now you want to defend the bitch. She could be the fucking reason you got shot. Scarlett said it was someone close to you, someone you know, and I am suspicious of. Mila is the only person that comes to mind. You know—"

"STOP!" He yelled this was making his fucking head hurt. Plus, it was hard for him to control his anger. He wanted to believe his wife but needed time to consider what was happening. Adele wasn't allowing that.

"Luca, listen to me!"

"ADELE I NEED FUCKING TIME TO THINK... PLEASE STOP!"

"WHAT IS IT TO FUCKING THINK ABOUT LUCA?! THE FACTS ARE IN YOUR FUCKING FACE! LISTEN TO ME MILA IS THE ENEMY!" She yelled, pushing her nail into his chest. Sometimes, Dele didn't know when to stop, and Luca had difficulty controlling himself. Before he knew it, Adele was on the floor.

"GOT DAMNIT, ADELE I SAID TO SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GIVE ME TIME TO THINK! WHY CAN'T YOU LISTEN AND KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF?! NOW GET THE FUCK UP!"

Luca swore he would never pull his hands on her again, but Adele made things difficult, especially when she was mad. All he needed was time to think; she refused to allow it. "I-I'm sorry," She cried, struggling to get up from the floor. Luca sighed, running his hand through his hair as he cursed himself out.

"Please listen—" She whispered, reaching for him as Luca did the unthinkable. His hand wrapped around her throat and forcibly slammed Adele against the wall. "Let me fucking think, Adele." He growled while she tried her best to fight him off, clawing at his arms as he had to stop himself from hitting her again.

"Luca... Luca, please— the babies. The babies, Luca." She struggled to say, making him snap back to his senses, quickly letting her go. "FUCK... FUCK... FUCK ADELE!" He yelled as Adele slowly used the wall to lift herself from the floor and tried to run for the door.

"Where the fuck do you think you're going?!" He yelled while she shook her head, which caused Luca to walk over to her swiftly. Quickly, Adele backed into the first corner and covered her face as she closed her eyes, looking for him to hit her again.

"I'm not going to hit you. Shit, I fucked up! I fucked up...."

"Can I go to the room? I promise I won't let your Dad see me. I just want to leave." Luca hurt her once again, and seeing her cry like this in front of him broke his heart as she reached up to wipe her tears. Adele's reaction was normal as she flinched, making Luca sigh.

"I'm not worried about my Dad. I know what he told me, and I'll be looking for my punishment. Go clean up, Adele, then we'll sit down and talk about this." Quickly, she wiped away her tears, nodding as she headed to the restroom until she stopped turning back to him. "I-I was out of line... I know she's your sister Luca, but please think about this. Okay, and I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you."

"I'm the one that should be sorry, Dele. You did nothing wrong." He said, approaching her, quickly pulling her into a hug and kissing her sweetly. "I fucked up, not you. You were trying to get me to see reason, and I let my fucking emotion or whatever this shit is get to him. Are you okay? And the babies." He asked, touching her belly while kissing her as one of the girls kicked.
