A month had passed, and Adele and Luca were finally settled in their new home, but they still had no leads on Mila or Saxon. They knew Victor and Scarlett decided to stay in the UK slightly longer than expected, which told Luca he didn't have shit to do with the death of his cousin or Adele's rape. Deep down, Luca knew this, but it took some time to see the truth.

However, they did have good news: Josephine and Tyler were getting used to their big change and the new home. Although, the first week was the hardest. Josie was a nervous wreck, scared she was always doing something wrong, or she would get beat if she asked for food. They were also like newborn babies, something Luca could understand with Tyler, but Josephine was worse. Every time they got them asleep and in their beds, Tyler would wake up crying while Josie found her way back to their room. Sibylla didn't make shit easier because she was spoiling them along with Gabby, his Mom, and Axel. Then, they had an issue with Adele. Her condition had worsened over the last few weeks, and now she was swollen everywhere. Mostly because she was hardhead, and every time he left her alone, Adele was on her feet instead of resting.

"Luca, my legs are swollen again."

"Yeah, I wonder why."

"Can you stop being a jackass just for a moment, please? Irene said if this happens again, I need to go straight to the hospital." Luca knew this. Irene made sure to remind him each time he saw the witch. Besides responding, Luca picked up his phone, calling his grandmother and mother into the room. He had gotten close to the two and his sister over the month. This also allowed Axel to open up about why he hid the truth from Luca, but he felt this was still lying. For now, he would leave it alone and believe what he said. However, Axel and Sibylla were now on good terms while she was still having trouble winning over Otis and Heide. The two claimed she was always bitching about something, but the problem was actually them, which was a story for another day.

Luca could also see he and his mother still loved each other and liked seeing his father smile more, but the good thing out of all was that his grandmother and mother adored Adele. However, Luca had other things to worry about... his wife and her swollen leg, and Sibylla was pissed. "I told you to sit your ass down, Adele. You so damn hardheaded child!"

"Stop yelling at her like that, Sibylla."

"Obioma, don't make me knock the hell out of your woman. I can fuss if I fucking please!" Sibylla ranted, causing Luca and Adele to look at one another and sigh. They were consistently bumping heads about Adele, but both were right.

"Do you need me to help with anything?" Gabriella asked, making the two older women look back at the teenage girl with a smile. "You need to worry about school and your project due Friday, but if we need anything, we'll ask, sweetie." Obioma smiled as she pulled Gabby into a hug. To her, she was her daughter, and she treated both the same.

"Can we get back to me? Remember, I need to get to the hospital. Plus, I have to use the bathroom... which was the reason I couldn't stay off my feet unless you wanted me to piss on myself, Grandma." Adele snapped while Obioma laughed, and Sibylla rolled her eyes. On the other hand, Luca went into the closet to retrieve Adele's bags so he didn't have to listen to his mother and grandmother argue.

"Luca, I assume you want us to babysit."

"Not, babysit Grandma. I want you and my Mom to help the nannies." He said, walking back into the room just in time to see his wife scold before closing the bathroom door. Adele was upset because he went against her wishes and hired nannies. He knew there was no way they could care for four children. Adele had to be crazy to think they could do it alone, but Luca had to say it was funny to see his mother and grandmother interviewing their potential nannies. Each time a young woman walked through the door, they would put the fear of God into the poor girls.
