I Killed Him

Something was wrong, and Liam could feel it as he quickly woke from his sleep at 4:45 a.m. For some reason, Adele was heavy on his mind, causing him to leap from bed and dress before waking Anneliese and instructing her to call Adele. His suspicions grew when Adele didn't answer the phone after the fifth time his wife tried, causing Liam to call the house phone, which went to voicemail. Both shared a look, knowing the staff should have been getting ready to start their day. So, someone should have answered the phone, which left Liam no choice but to call Axel and then Emma... Neither answered. However, Liam knew they were on a mission in which Axel left Jake and Ben in charge. Sadly, neither of them answered either. Clearly, something terribly was wrong, and Liam needed to get to his cousin's house as quickly as possible. His only wish was to find Adele safe and sound as he turned to Anneliese with a deep sigh while she quickly handed him his small boot dagger, knife, and gun.

"Go!" She stated, pushing Liam toward the door. Without a thought, he hurried to Luca and Adele's house, arriving precisely at 5 a.m. Upon walking up to the door, Liam realized the house was still dark, which was strange because he knew the foyer lights always were on. Plus, it was after five in the morning, and Katy should have been awake preparing breakfast while the maids should've been cleaning before 4:30. Luca had a precise schedule and was a cleaning freak who liked his home clean three or more times a day. Therefore, Liam knew something wasn't right as he quickly pulled out his phone and texted his uncle after seeing Axel's car was still missing.

Liam: 911! Whatever you are doing, stop it now and get back to Luca's house. Something is wrong!

Uncle Axel: OMW

Axel's quick text upset Liam a little, given he had called the man multiple times without an answer. Something should have told his uncle something was wrong. However, a small bit of relief washed over Liam, knowing he was okay as he entered the house every morning through the side door leading to the clinic. He knew only he and Irene used the entrance this early and were the only ones with a key that could. Slowly, he made his way to the stairs, not wanting to use the elevator, fearing it would alert whoever was in the house. As he reached the top floor, Liam found two of his cousin's guards who appeared dead, but he soon realized they were unconscious.

"They're drugged... why drug them and not kill them?" Liam questioned as he made his way up the stairs. The whole situation didn't seem right to him. It wasn't something a mafia man would do. They killed to get to the top, not drug people, to make their way into a Don's home. Something about this didn't feel like Victor's doing; then again, people did dumb shit. Why would this be any different? Liam's mind ran a thousand times per hour, trying to figure out what was happening as he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Immediately, he thought it was Axel texting him again until he saw his wife's name.

Liam frowned, then eased his phone back into his pocket as he continued down the hallway when a sound from his cousin's bedroom stopped him dead in his tracks. The sound of Adele's crying, begging for something to stop, after he heard a male voice he knew wasn't his cousin's. Liam's legs started moving... He didn't think he reacted as he quickly ran to the room door and opened it, but Liam wasn't prepared for what he saw, causing his voice to get caught in his throat. He couldn't believe this muthafucka would stoop this low and rape his cousin's wife. Liam's blood boiled, seeing Victor roughly pounding into Adele as he had her head pushed down in bed while she screamed for him to stop.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" Liam's feet started to move without him telling them to as he quickly pulled Victor off Adele and started throwing punches to the man's face. He should have shot his ass, but he feared he might hurt Adele in the process. "You nasty muthafucka! Are you that damn desperate to bring my cousin down? You'll rape his pregnant wife?!" He yelled as the man tried his best to fight Liam off him.
