Luca knew Adele said she didn't feel anything, but he knew better. Therefore, he held her in his arms while the tension she had faded away. No matter how she spun it, he knew she was hurting. Mila was a friend who turned against her. The sad thing was Adele looked at the woman as a sister who turned out like the ones she left behind. Luca hated this happened to her. All the shit Mila put her through was for nothing. However, Adele slowly looked up at him with hurt in her eyes while she search his. Maybe she thought he was mad, but in reality, Luca was happy his love was okay.

Again, Adele eyed Mila's body, causing Luca to finally look at her work. He couldn't lie. Adele did a number on her ass which all came from rage, anger, and hurt. This also told Luca she would be a great torturer, and from the looks of it, she was worse than his cousins and Erik put together, and they were all... his best torturers, which said a lot. Now, Luca wanted to know how far Adele would be willing to go if she wasn't stop. Good for him they would learn this after they found Saxon.

Like Mila, he would pay, but if Luca had to be honest, it hurt a little seeing his so-called sister's body lying lifeless on his bedroom floor. She was supposed to be his family, but she couldn't separate a father's love from whatever she felt about Axel. Sadly, now she was an example of what happens when you cross the wrong person, and from what Luca could see, Adele made her feel the pain of everyone she hurt.

"If you're starting to feel sorry, don't. Mila deserved everything that happened to her this morning. She was a traitor and wanted something she couldn't never have. Her delusions, or whatever the hell you want to call them, got in the way of the truth... I think she couldn't tell what was real anymore. She's gone now and isn't a threat to any of us, and don't worry. Saxon time is near, and after, we can handle our other situation... Ethan, I want to thank you for protecting my wife. I know you said things got scary for a moment; I just wished I was here to see it." Luca laughed until the room door swung open, revealing Josephine as she stood there staring with her mouth open.

"DAMNIT! Get her out of here! Why didn't one of you try and stop her from walking in, knowing it was a fucking dead body on the floor? She's already traumatized, you stupid fucks. Then you dumbasses going to allow her to see another dead body!"

Sometimes, his guards were a bunch of dumbasses, and besides taking the child back to her room, they allowed her to run past them straight into Adele's arms. Josie wasn't worried about anything but her mom as she quickly climbed into Dele's lap, hugging her tightly as if she would leave her. Josie loved Adele and over the past few weeks, she had become attached while Adele became her mama, and Luca became daddy. Although Luca believed his mom and grandmother had something to do with it. They may not have been theirs by blood, but Luca loved having the two of them in his life.

"Mama, Did she try to hurt you?"

"You shouldn't worry about that, Prinzessin, but she didn't hurt Mama," Luca spoke as Josie reached over and hugged him. Afterward, she pressed her finger to her cheek with a big, goofy grin, instructing him to kiss her. This was when he noticed Axel standing by the door quietly until he walked over, kicking Mila's body along the way before taking Josie out of Adele's arms.

"Little girls shouldn't see things like this. Come on, let Opa clean your feet, then you, me, Ty, Oma, and Nana can eat. How does that sound, Puppe (doll)?" Axel smiled as Josie nodded and brushed the hair out of his face. "Opa, you need a haircut. I don't like your hair in your face."

"Axel, that's not your job. Luca, I don't understand why we have nannies if they're never around to help. We're paying the three of them to sit on their asses... KYLIE, ALICIA, AND PIPER, WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOUR ARE YOU!" Within minutes, Alicia came running into the room right when Axel, Obioma, and Sibylla left, with Josie frowning down at Mila's body as she slowly looked up at them with a smile.
