Aftermath

It took a moment before Adele to calmed down but once she did Luca laid the two of them against the headboard while he continued to hold her in his arms until he decided to give her his jacket. For some reason or another it made Adele smile while the action warmed Luca's heart as he watched her smell it before removing her pants and covering herself and lean back against the headboard with a sigh. Luca knew he had let her down and it hurt to see that man's hands touching on her body. He wasn't there for her, and it hurt like hell. So, without a word, he pulled her to him as she rested her head on his chest until she fell asleep.

It somewhat made Luca feel happy, she felt safe in his arms causing him to smile as he listened to her settled sores while he pulled covers over her legs and her closer to him. This seemed right to him, but it didn't stop his mind from wondering. Luca wanted to know who gave that bastard the idea to think it was okay to touch his woman. What was going through his mind and did think he could get away? Luca wanted answers and the only person who could give those to him was his cousin Kellan who he quickly texted telling him to come his room. Lucky for him Kellan was his underboss and the idiot who brought the asshole into his home.

Luca was disgusted that his cousin would associate himself with someone like him, then to made him one of his soldiers was disturbing. It didn't make things better to know he was in his home with his filthy hands on his wife. Luca didn't want to imagine what would have happened if he and his father didn't hear her calls, but he couldn't get the image of her torn shirt and his nasty hands in her pants. He was lucky his father got to him first because Luca would have killed him where he stood. It didn't matter, tonight would be his last time seeing the light of day because once Luca was finished with him, he would be wishing he was never born. Luca couldn't help but think all the ways he could he torture his ass until a knock on his door brought him back to reality.

"Kommen! (come in)". Luca spoke as he quickly covered Adele up to her neck with the bed sheet. Kellan had wandering eyes, and Luca knew he meant no harm, but it bothered him as he watched him enter their room. Like he expected, the first thing Kellan did was looked at Adele and quickly held his head down, but it was look he gave before he looked down. Somehow Luca could tell he was thinking the same shit Erik was. His best friend was sure he fell in love with Adele at first sight, but Luca called it bullshit. He saw something he wanted and went after it. Any one of them would have done the same. Luca had never been crazy over a woman before but seeing Adele did something to him. He knew he had to have her.

"Ich weiß und es tut mir leid, Don. Wenn ich Tilly nie mitgebracht hätte, wäre das nie passiert. Onkel Axel kümmerte sich um die Situation und stellte sicher, dass ich verstand, was ich getan habe. (I know, and I'm sorry, Don, if I had never brought Tilly, this would never have happened. Uncle Axel took care of the situation and made sure I understood what I have done).

"Worum genau hat sich mein Vater gekümmert? (What exactly did my father take care of?)." He asked as Kellan sighed, looking up at him briefly before speaking. "Er tötete ihn, weil er seine zukünftige Schwiegertochter angefasst hatte... brach ihm das Genick und schoss ihm zweimal in den Kopf. (He killed because he touched his future daughter-in-law... broke his neck and shot him twice in the head.)." He said, making Luca laugh. Axel had gotten to know Adele over the last few weeks and saw her as a daughter. He also continued to threaten him about keeping his hands to himself. Making sure he understood if it ever happened again, he would kill him. Luca didn't want to find out if it was true or not.

"Ja, das klingt nach Recht. Es bedeutet auch, dass ich keinen Spaß haben kann. Ich wollte derjenige sein, der ihn getötet hat. (Yeah, that sounds about Right. It also means I can't have fun. I wanted to be the one that killed him.)."

"Ich denke nicht, aber wirst du heute Abend noch einen Antrag machen, oder was... Ich bin neugierig zu wissen, warum, wenn die Hochzeit für nächste Woche geplant ist. (I guess not, but will you still propose tonight, or what... I'm curious to know why when the wedding is planned for next week.)." Luca shrugged. It was something he wanted to do. He thought it would ease Adele's mind.
