Over the past few days, it was hard for Luca to get used to Jaxon being around. It was like looking at Saxon everywhere he turned, but he slowly was getting used to it, while his uncle was a different story. The man refused to see his son and claimed it would be better that way. His excuse was he had already lost a son and didn't need another to replace him. The truth was he was feeling guilty, and he should, as Adele, have avoided the man at all costs. She was still trying to make herself understand he wasn't Saxon.

On the other hand, his father and grandmother had warmed up to him as she teased his father how much he looked like him besides Otis. It led her to believe Jaxon was Axel's son, not Otis's. It could have been true, but Axel claimed he only slept with the woman once, which was their wedding night. It could have been a lie, but Luca cared not to listen to any more of their conversation. Today, Luca wanted family time, which made him decide to have a fun day outside since the weather was warm.

Nothing was about to keep him in the house. The twins were walking at eight months and wild, getting into everything they could think of while Tyler was their ringleader. Then Josephine didn't make it better by encouraging them. At least Sophia helped a little when they weren't arguing over stupid shit. Luca thought having siblings would be fun, but Sophia was hell, while Ansel was a little more chill for a four-year-old. All they had to do was give him his Nintendo Switch, and he was good, and Gabriella... she was quiet and to herself. Which worried Luca. Not in a bad way, but in the way saying she needed friends.

"Luca... Daddy said for me to come out here with you 'cause I was getting on his fucking nerves. Those are his words... not mine."

"Got damnit, Soph, watch your damn mouth, or I will bust your ass!" As if that meant anything to Sophia, the little girl had an attitude just like her mother, and Luca hated it. Instead of listening, she rolled her eyes, and he was ready to beat her ass until Adele spoke up.

"Little girl, I know you just didn't roll your damn eyes at your brother. Say you're sorry now and watch your mouth, or next time I will whoop your ass." Quickly, Sophia jumped, looking back at Dele and then at him. The two got along well, and she would listen to Adele before him. One would say it made them angry, but Luca thought it was funny. However, Sophia was a good child, and Luca loved her. He only hated to learn how Mila mistreated the two, and none of them knew... not even Erik. It made Erik feel guilty about losing them, although Axel insisted he should keep them, but everything worked out.

"I'm sorry, big brother. I won't do it again."

"What did I tell you about lying, Soph? Never mind, go play and leave me alone." Luca sighed, as she smiled as she ran off while Adele shook her head. He knew she was about to say something. "You're no better than her. You're supposed to be the adult but act like a child arguing with a six-year-old."

She was right but wasn't the one who found out after thirty-five years that she had three siblings younger than her... he was. He was the one thinking he was the only child until his sixteen-year-old sister showed up. It was fucked up, but Luca got past it. Yet, he nodded at his wife, smiling as he looked up before returning his attention to the children playing in the yard, causing Adele to slap his arm. That was a game to him, making Luca slap her ass as he smiled and quickly rubbed her belly. Over the past few weeks, she began to show. The funny thing was that Adele was neither big nor small, but everyone could tell she was pregnant.

"I want at least three more."

"You're just gonna ignore me?" She knew the answer to that. Therefore, Luca chuckled, waiting for his answer. "Maybe one or two more, but not three. You're not the one who has to carry them, and you're about to be forty in three years...."

"What my age has to do with it? Liebe, I got a late start but always wanted at least six kids. No one with my status wants to have multiple baby mamas... crazy baby mamas who are hungry for money. Look at how that turned out for Erik. Bitches like them are selfish and always want something in order to see their children. I'm happy he has found someone he can love and who loves him back. He and Emma are made for each other as we are. I may be a little old, but I'm young at heart. We can wait a year or two after you have him, but I want at least two more... please."
