The days turned into weeks, then months, and Adele, Luca, and the others were still combing through all the information they had on Bridget. She was also due any day now, and it seemed the more they found out about the woman, the more they knew how badly she wanted Axel. She was coming after them, but they didn't know why. Neither could decipher whether she was raising a new mafia in Russia or wanted theirs.

Either way, it had something to do with Axel because she knew there was no way in hell they were targeting them for no reason. Axel had done something he didn't want to tell; it was affecting them. No matter how he tried to spin it, everything pointed back at Axel, and sadly, they were failing to find a picture of the woman.

It was like finding a needle in a haystack or a never-ending story. She made sure no one saw or knew the real her. Once again, Adele reached for another file from the stack as she sat on the floor with her babies, playing with their toys while Zeus fought over them. He thought he was one of the children and everything they had was his. Seeing them fight the dog was funny, and he enjoyed doing it. Really, it was the only thing that was keeping them sane, letting everyone know they had something to fight for.

"Liebe, your ass shouldn't be on the damn floor." She was fine, but Luca didn't think so as he quickly made his way over to help her from the floor. Instead of fighting, Adele rolled her eyes with a smile as he kissed her. He only wanted the best for her, and Dele loved him for it. So, she tried not to fuss while she sat back on the couch, opening the document she held as a picture of a familiar woman fell out. Adele had seen her before, although she wasn't the girl from the beach, but she knew she had seen her before.

However, she seemed like she could be kin to Victor. She was beautiful and covered in tattoos and piercings but didn't seem to be intimidating at all. "I found something, but it's not the woman we're searching for." Swiftly, she handed Luca the picture as he glanced at it, then gave it to Vic. Immediately, he froze as if he had seen a ghost or someone from his past.

"Is something wrong?"

"I... I know her, but she's not Bridget." Everyone turned to him, waiting for an explanation. Adele knew the picture said it was Bridget Novikov, but Dele knew it couldn't be her. Still, Victor needed to start talking before Luca went off.

"I know I should have mention this before— shit... she's my little sister Hanna. About eight years ago, she came to me with proof. Apparently, Conard was her father, and her mother died in a car accident a year before she found me. Before you go all crazy on me, cousin. I did my research and took a DNA test. She's my sister, and she never knew our father like me. This bitch is playing with us."

"Why are you just telling me this shit, Vic? I swear this is some fucking bullshit. What if you weren't in the room when Adele found this picture? Yeah, she knew it wasn't Bridget, but Jaxon didn't. She would have been dead once I sent Erik after her ass. I'm tired... if either one of you is hiding something, it needs to be put on the table here and now. Because from here on out, there will be no more of this shit. Are we all at an understanding?" Both nodded while Luca let out a deep sigh, rubbing his temples.

"We need to figure out how this bitch knows about your little sister, but as of now, you need to find her and take her somewhere where it's safe. I would say here, but right now, I don't know if I can trust anyone. Also, don't go to her or call because we could be being watched. Find someone you can trust to do it for you."

Victor nodded, pulling out his burner phone and dialing a number as he spoke to someone in Swedish. A language Adele had yet to master. However, he quickly hung up, nodding at Luca again, letting them know the situation was under control. It was strange for a picture of Victor's sister to pop up in their files. It was almost like someone placed it there for them to find. Someone wanted them to tell them Vic's sister was the enemy but wasn't planning for him to know or tell them, which meant they didn't know Victor was on their side.
