It had been a really long day of planning for the wedding of my dreams with Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline. Well, it was more like Elena and Bonnie. Caroline seemed to be planning someone else's wedding instead of mine. During my whole appointment with the wedding planner, she was commenting on a lot of things that I didn't see a need for her to comment on at all. She would refuse to acknowledge things that I wanted and took over with the things she thought were better suited for her vision for "my" wedding. She might be dating my brother, but she did not know me like he did.

Tyler knows that I have had the vision of my dream wedding since I was in middle and would have sat back and waited for me to ask his opinion just as Elena and Bonnie had done. But his girlfriend on the other hand couldn't just let me have my moment. At every turn, Caroline would have an objection to every single detail I had picked. I was beyond grateful when her mother called her away because I didn't have the heart to send one of my best friends away, but she was kind of ruining it all for me. And, oh man, the ball got rolling after she left.

"Yes, Ty, I considered her opinions. I just didn't see how any of the things she picked would have tied into anything Damon and I had talked about. She obviously wasn't getting that, like at all."

"YNN, I'm not saying you had to follow through with any of her ideas, you know that, right?" My brother's voice rang through the speakers of my car as I parked at the boarding house. "It's your big day. Go on and create the best day of your life, down to every last petal your flower girl drops. I'm just saying it would make Care smile to see even the tiniest detail that she might have suggested is all."

"Look, I get it, but it seemed very obvious she was planning your wedding instead of helping me plan mine. As D put it earlier, he's marrying me, not her. I know what will look best for me and him and what fits us not only as a couple but also individually. We don't want anything big or extravagant. Caroline thinks with all the guests that this and that will look better. But we're not having hundreds of people like she seems to think we are in her mind. It's just our small circle of people. She's not even my maid of honor. I don't have one and don't want one either. And not to sound like a bitch, but this would be why."

"I get it," Tyler said. "I'm not telling you what to do, YNN. Whatever you and Damon decide on, I'll back you up a hundred percent, you know that."

"Thanks, Ty" I sighed.

"No problem. I'll talk to Caroline about all of this. Just don't stress about it now. The wedding is months away. Just be glad it's her and not mom." He said with a small chuckle.

"Least mom would have listened. Granted she would have thrown it out the window, but she would have listened."

"True." Tyler and I both laughed. "Like I said, I'll talk to her. Don't worry. Go take a relaxing bath or something. Just relax."

"Thanks again, Tyler."

"Anything for you. Love you, YNN."

"Love you too," I said then hung up and finally headed inside.

When I got inside, I found Damon and Stefan chilling out on the couches in front of the fireplace. "There she is." my fiancé said as he and his brother locked over at me as I walked through the front door. "How did the rest of the appointment go without Caroline?"

"So much smoother, actually," I said as I placed my things down on the nearest table then paused for a moment. "Wait, how did you know she left?"

"I may or may not have been with Liz when you told me she had tried to take over," Damon admitted.

Stefan rolled his eyes at his brother's confession then said, "In other words, he told her mother she was trying to get what she wanted again and asked her to get Caroline out of there before you beach a gasket or something."
