Hua Cheng's Parent's residence,

Both Hua Cheng and Xie Lian needed an extra hour to get out of their bedroom. No one has any idea about it except Shuang and Xiao Bai, Shuang especially as she was the one who was secretly eavesdropping them.

For her it was something out of box. She couldn't understand some things and she could understand the others. It was her maid Xiao Bai once again who picked her up by the collar and started to drag her out of the scene to her study room. Xiao Bai was super embarrassed as well. She tried to make no sound while dragging her.

The family sat around the dine, but Hua Cheng's father still didn't return back, it was said through a letter that he will be back as it's a long trip. His mother was less worried now.

Hua Cheng smiled and passed the bowl to Xie Lian sitting beside him.

"What?" Xie Lian said totally angry and flustered of what happened an hour ago.

"Your highness seems mad at me? I beg for forgiveness." Hua Cheng was totally playful with his words. Shuang giggled.

"! It's nothing like that. Why are you giving me your bowl?... H-husband..."
Xie Lian lowered his tone in the last word but it was enough to reach Hua Cheng's ear. Hua Cheng chuckled and then brought his hand closer to Xie Lian's face, he simply rubbed off the excess food on the corner of Xie Lian's lip. Xie Lian widened his eyes and looked away quickly.

Hua Cheng played with Xie Lian's side hair that fell while looking away and tucked it in. Then kissed him on the head by bringing him closer.

Both Shuang and Hua Cheng's mother watched the couples interactions and their reactions to each other's touch. They couldn't help but look at eachother and then give a silent laugh. Xie Lian was embarrassed already and his state was worsening but to Hua Cheng it was the best state of Xie Lian ever.

Hua Cheng then said slowly.
"Your highness, you should eat this, it's really good..." He brought it closer to Xie Lian's mouth with the spoon. Xie Lian gave him a sharp stare and declined politely. Hua Cheng gave a faint smile and looked away as if he was sad.

'He's such a moody.' Thought Xie Lian and sighed. He brought his mouth closer while opened to Hua Cheng, Hua Cheng's eyes lit up and he fed his gege gently with love and affection. Shuang smiled when the couples connected and His mother hided her smirk behind a fan.

It was as if every time Xie Lian and Hua Cheng became affectionate towards each other, it was some kind of point for them, both liked to see the couples collide.

After Xie Lian took his bite Shuang spoke.

"Brother Cheng, Shao Zi, you guys promised me we will see the delights of the Ghost City with me. When are we going?"

"Yue mei mei, have you completed your studies? Remember you have holidays for about a week from now, you have exams after." Questioned Hua Cheng.

"But Cheng ge!!! I'm just here it's not even been 2 days yet, let's have some fun I'll study later"

"A good sister doesn't neglected her studies, she would always keep her studies first than other desires." Hua Cheng crossed his arms.

"Shao Zi!! Say something, and A-Niang!!" Shuang just wanted someone to defend her.

Xie Lian gave a confused look as if he can't do anything in this situation. Cheng's mother laughed and said.

"Hong'er, you are saying as if you were some top scholar of your time? Till this day your handwriting hasn't improved, our Little Shuang writes better than you atleast hahaha."
