"Children."

The months passed quickly, and Xie Lian's pregnancy entered its final stages.

The day of the baby's birth finally arrived, bringing with it a mix of excitement and anxiety for Xie Lian and Hua Cheng.

Hua Cheng stayed by his side throughout the whole process, holding his hand and whispering words of comfort and encouragement. He had never seen his lover in so much pain before, and it was difficult for him to see Xie Lian suffering so.

Hua Cheng's heart ached as he watched his beloved struggle through the pain. He had never felt so helpless before, unable to do anything to ease Xie Lian's pain.

Tears streamed down his face as he held Xie Lian's hand, wishing he could take the burden upon himself.

Xie Lian tried to focus on his breathing, attempting to stay calm and comfortable despite the pain. He gritted his teeth and squeezed Hua Cheng's hand tightly, trying to channel his energy into pushing with each contraction.

"San Lang..." He called out.

"I'm here, gege," Hua Cheng replied instantly, his voice filled with concern and love. "I'm right here with you."

He leaned closer to Xie Lian, one hand coming up to wipe the sweat from his lover's forehead, with a soft cloth.

"You're doing so well," Hua Cheng encouraged him. "Just a little longer, okay? You're doing great, I'm so proud of you."

Xie Lian nodded, he let out a low groan, gripping Hua Cheng's hand even tighter.

The weather outside was cold and blustery, the winter snows falling heavily and covering everything in a thick layer of white. Inside the bedroom, however, the heat was turned up to make Xie Lian as comfortable as possible.

The final moment came finally, and after what felt like an eternity, Xie Lian gave birth to a set of twins. The first was a boy, a healthy and strong child, and the second was a girl, smaller but just as vibrant as her brother.

Hua Cheng was there to witness the whole thing, tears streaming down his face as he watched the event unfold.

As Xie Lian rested on the bed, exhausted but radiant with joy, Hua Cheng was handed the two crying babies. He carefully cradled them in his arms, his eye brimming with tears of happiness.

"They're beautiful," he murmured, his voice filled with awe. "We did it, gege. We have two beautiful children."

He sat down next to Xie Lian on the bed, cradling the babies in one arm. With his other hand, he reached out to stroke Xie Lian's hair, gently pushing it back from his sweaty forehead.

"You were amazing," he whispered, his voice filled with admiration. "You did so well, I'm so proud of you."

He leaned down and pressed a tender kiss to Xie Lian's forehead, then looked back down at their babies, his heart swelling with love.

"Here, gege, hold her," he said, carefully passing one of the infants to Xie Lian. The baby was small and delicate, wrapped in a soft blanket and looking up at them with wide, curious eyes. Soon he passed the other.

"San Lang..." Said Xie Lian, while looking at their babies.

"Yes, gege?" Hua Cheng asked, his voice filled with tenderness as he looked at Xie Lian holding their children for the first time.

"Have you thought of any names?"

Hua Cheng shook his head, a thoughtful look crossing his face. He had been so focused on Xie Lian's pregnancy and the upcoming birth that he hadn't given the matter much thought.
