"What are you doing here?" Deon asked, while he sat at the table with one of the pads in front of him and a paper next to him.

Ratok was just starting to get up, what ever Vassenhilo gave him this time knocked him out, unlike before were he was just in restless sleep. With a yawn and a stretch, Ratok got out of bed and stumbled over to the table and sat down to join Deon.

"I have been put on a temporary leave of work."

Deon's face twisted up as he tilted his head, "Your the Guard Captain, are you allowed that?"

Ratok shrugged, "Vassenhilo said it. So I assume they will just have to figure it out."

Deon just twisted back toward what he was working on.

Ratok stretched to see what it was but with no luck. "What are you doing?"

"Something stupid." He said looked down at his paper with a puzzled look.

Ratok moved his chair right up beside him. The concept of personal space between these two disappeared ages ago. Ratok turned the electronic pad and scanned over the information.

"Why do you have information on Beskra and Kaylo?"

"You mean Tyklyn as Beskra never actually existed?"

Ratok scoffed but nodded. "Yes why?"

"I want to try and move them out of that cell, but not into something worse."

"Why are you wanting to do that. Tyklyn is the reason we don't have Ruma with us." Ratok growled.

Deon rubbed his arm, "Technically, it wasn't Tyklyn it was the one with the gun."

"Your going soft."

"I've always been soft, Rat," Deon muttered.

Ratok just stared at him. Then relented, he was right, "Brude."

Deon threw a chair pillow at him that was in the seat next to him. "Shut the fuck up."

Ratok chuckled as the soft fluff bounced of his chest. "I have two questions then."

"I'll answer if you agree to help."

"I'll help depending on the first answer." Ratok threw the pillow back at Deon.

Deon dodged it barely then sat back up, "Fine. Ask then"

"Why are you wanting to do this?" He raised his brow waiting for an answer.

Deon sat there in silence for a moment. "I don't know. It's like something in me, has to do this."

Ratok then asked the second. "What is your plan for them?"

"Get them put under some type of house arrest here in the tower? We have plenty of floors that aren't being used."

Ratok sighed.

"Don't like that idea?"

"No. But-" he watched Deon almost pout as he looked at him. "But I'll help." He grabbed the pad from Deon completely. "You know, it be better to make Bvelpio on outside for this and have him deal with Vassenhilo than try just for Vassenhilo."

Deon perked up, "I never thought of that. How can we get Bvelpio to agree?"

"He was one of the biggest sellers and secondary breeders of Ruma's people. He has thousands of half-breeds. As the originals all died out." Ratok added.

"So- how do we get him on ourside?" Deon tilted his head.

"Several ways. First he has pretty much bullied Vassenhilo into letting you do whatever because your Ruma's brude. Same with me. Secondly, while Kaylo is still a have breed he acts a thousand times more like one of Ruma's race than his other half. Lastly, this one is the biggest. Tyklyn is a purebred."

Deon's mind started spinning. "Your right, but how do we keep them from just shoving them into a cage and bred them repeatedly like they did to Ruma?"

"They still might have to deal with being someone's bed warmer, but at least they are out of that cage. I'm sure with how family oriented her race was, that we can make up or even ask Tyklyn to say something of how they would do better in their mothers tower." Ratok shrugged.

Deon nodded that honestly sounded like a better plan. "So who is going to speak with Tyklyn and who will speak with Bvelpio."

Ratok gave a grimace, "Your not going to like it."

"No,"

"Bvelpio will be more willing to see you over me. Just cause your the brude."

"Fuck this,"

"Sorry, that's what happens when your smol."

"Oh fuck off." Deon backhanded Ratok's arm. Causing the big bear kin to bellow out a laugh.
