Ruma sat with her electronic pad in her lap, she had just won another round in the elite games and was moved on to yet another round. She was doing her "due diligence" and was keeping an eye on the compound and sending through different orders, something to make everything happening feel less chaotic, and she should keep up the practice.
She heard the tent flap move, annoyed she could imagine it was one of two people that had entered. "I am not in the mood for anyone right now."
"I'm barely literate in my own language let alone that." a female voice she hadn't heard before spoke, the shock of the newcomer cause Ruma to go on the defensive here. Her head snapped up, and she snarled up as a warning, while taking in the sight."Be glad you belong to a friend or I'd knock your block off for snarling at me" the bear kin spoke, she was much more bear than humanoid unlike Ratok but seemed to share a very similar coat pattern, as if they came from the same bear lineage.
Ruma eyes narrowed. When she processed the part of belonging to a friend, was she in the scheme with Bvlepio or did she make some agreement with Vassenhilo.
"I came to talk, I have some questions and mostly concerns about Rath- Ratok." Ruma perked, she knew Ratok? Ruma lowered her growl and raised a brow. Still weary of this woman, but more willing to listen.
"Good, now that I have your attention, can I sit? There is alot and i don't like standing around if I don't have too." a fair request, but ruma didn't want this girl to get an upper hand if this was some sort of scheme.
Ruma moved to the furthest end of the bench and pointed to the other end.
"Thank you." she cautiously watched the bear kin sit. "I am not going to bite you" she then said, Ruma gruffed, she didn't believe that for a second.
She watched as the bear rolled her eyes. "I know a little of what you are planning, not alot, but some."
Ruma lifted her brow again, waiting for this woman to go on, with what she wanted to say.
"I am an old friend, I was raised with Ratok, I am worried about him. But also I think he is being blinded by old wounds."
Ruma tilted her head, but continued to listen.
"What do you know of his past?"
Ruma thought and then pulled up a speaking app on the pad, The robotic voice spoke for her, "Not much, he always had a sore spot for his past. I never pushed."
"What do you know about the Medved family?"
Ruma scratched her brain, she has heard of them, but not much. "Very little, I think that name my have come up in reports or news occasionally out at the compound, but they have no importance to Vassenhilo so knowledge on anyone that didn't effect him I had little access about."
"Ratok is the youngest of that family, they are a very prominent mafia line. He ran off when he was younger, but I know that if you could convenience him into reaching out for help, they could do something for your situation. If you don't he might end up getting himself killed instead,"
Ruma thought for a moment, "Why did he leave?"
Katrina seemed shocked by the question. "What?'
Ruma typed quickly again, "Why did he leave? If you were childhood friends why did he leave?"
Katrina crossed her arms, and cross her leg over the other, "He didn't like his family violence, but he has seemed to grow out of it, I mean look at what he has been doing for the past 20 years."
"I don't trust that. What was the real reason?" Ruma said looking up at Katrina.
"That is the real reason, I don't know if you have notice or not but your precious bed piece is a bit of a bitch when it comes to bear kin. He was soft, he is soft."
Ruma snarled.
Katrina returned one. "What I am saying is true. Rather you like it said or not. Now quit snarling like a rabid dog at me, even though I guess that is what I can expect from rich mans breeding bitch. Ratok is doing something stupid, if you care you'll stop him." Katrina stormed out the tent.
Ruma felt weird about that one. She came out of know where. Before she could figure out what to do with that information she was being called onto the stage again for her next round.
