Deon watched Ratok drop into the chair as he was brought in from the arena, and that is pretty much where he stayed the rest of the day.
Now that it was late into the night and Ruma still hadn't appeared Deon stayed up pacing worriedly.
"Why are you still awake?" Tyklyn asked walking out of his room and over to the sink for some water.
Deon paused, "Your mom isn't back yet."
"She is probably doing her part of the plan."
Deon nodded, "Your probably correct."
"Your still going to worry aren't you?" Tyklyn asked.
Deon nodded, "I am."
"Good, cause so am I." he said walking up next to Deon.
"What is Kaylo doing?"
"In another fitful sleep."
Deon turned, "What do you mean?"
Tyklyn sighed staring into his drink. "For the past few nights he has been crying out in his sleep."
Deon hmmed, "Is he doing it now?"
"He is."
Deon walked away and into the boys room, it was small with two beds pushed up onto either side of the room. He walked in to where Kaylo was whimpering. He was still asleep but acted like he was in pain, tears followed down his face.
Deon wiped his face with the sleeve of his shirt.
He tended to Kaylo, rubbing his back, and tucking him back into bed. Waiting for him to either wake or go back to sleep fully a bit without whimpers. It took him a while to settle, but eventually did.
Deon walked back out, and saw that Tyklyn was already back asleep at the end of the couch. He went to try and move him but didn't have the strength to pick his dead weight.
"Here, let me." Ratok's voice rumbled as he stood up and with ease snagged up tyklyn and carried him off to bed.
"Well, make it look ease why don't you." Deon teased.
Ratok chuckled on the way back out.
Ratok sat down again, "How was your day?"
"Boring, been here all day, worrying."
"I'm sorry"
Deon shrugged.
Ratok, leaned over and budged Deon's arm. "Hey"
Deon looked over, "Yes?"
"You've been avoiding conversation with me. You upset?"
Deon shook his head, "No, not at all."
"Than whats the matter?"
Deon went over and shut the boys door, "Don't need them ease dropping"
"They are both asleep"
"For now." Deon said and came back to lean against the arm of the chair.
"But seriously"
"Honestly? Its weird."
Ratok raised an eyebrow, "Weird?"
"I can't quite be the same, cause I keep imagining your-"
Ratok smirked, "What my cock in your mouth?"
"I was going to say your lips on mine, but that tracks too."
"We can still chill like we use too, just cause we shared a few intimate moments doesn't mean we aren't still able to be friendly."
"Is it bad that I want to do something else?"
Ratok cocked his head to the side, "What might that be?" his hand reached out to grab Deon's arm. Deon moved closer to him, climbing into his lap, and straddling his legs. Ratok gripped the back of his neck, and pulled his face close to his. Smirking "Is this what you were thinking?"
Deon nodded."Perhaps, we can spend some time getting ourselves back to being friends, and then after we can spend the rest of the night until morning, in bed, doing exactly what we want to each others body." Deon's spine shivered, "Sounds- like a plan."
