A few days later
Ratok watched Ruma walk herself through the halls as they made their way to level five so she could see her boys. He was still worried over her, but didn't stop her from getting some movement in.
He kept his eyes on a swivel he was worried that the damned Badger was going to pop out at any time. Though he hadn't seen any signs or even scent from him since the other day.
Ruma's yap got his attention. They were already at the door. He hadn't given her the code to it, as she was being very stubborn about resting.
"Calm down love." He said coming up behind her and hiding the pad with his other hand he quickly typed it in.
Ruma grumbled.
"When you stop looking like a walking corpse. Than I'll give you the code."
She rolled her eyes, then bounded through the door.
Ratok chuckled and followed her in. They walked into Tyklyn and Kaylo rolling about on the floor. They snarled and nipped at each other, as they went from one arm lock to a head lock, and flipped.
Ratok stepped forward to intervene but noticed Ruma just casually walk pass them. Her lack of worry had him confused but he sat and watched. He knew brother play fought he did with his own, but they sounded and looked a lot more vicious than what he remembered.
He stood in the doorway and watched for a good while. Then when Tyklyn got Kaylo locked under him, where the younger brother couldn't get out. They stopped for a few moments. Then Kaylo let out a sound like he gave up and tapped Tyklyn's arm. The red head immediately released his brother and took a few steps back.
Kaylo shook himself off and stood up.
"Have fun?" Ruma signed.
Both brothers nodded and signed back a yes.
Kaylo looked around. "Wheres Deon? He always joins?"
Ruma shook her head. "Not today. He wanted to go out."

Deon spent a good hour roaming around the compound. He was feeling a bit pinned up and needed to get out and stretch his legs.
He went to his usual places and a few places he normally didn't. If the compound wasn't the size of a mid size city he would have probably explored everything already.
Since Bvelpio arrived, the compound has shown more signs of life. As Deon would casually pass people as he ventured around. Aliens and humans, and some hyper humans all bunched up and spread out across the area.
Once he was done with his exploration, he didn't feel like going back to the tower just yet. He needed some more alone time. He got quite use to it over the year.
He made his way to the one of many Vassenhilo labs, and went inside. There was generally places he could sit himself up in and ignore the world.
Today he found a small sitting nook where he could do just that. He pulled out the pad again. And kept reading through the miles of documents.
"Where are you keeping the specimens?" Deon perked up hearing Bvelpio speak. He listened in as he didn't know anyone was in the building with him. He chose one of the labs furthest from the mansion expecting it to not be in use.
He saw from just around the corner, a part of Vassenhilo standing with him.
"They are here. I was hoping that they'd go to term but of course. Events happened."
Vassenhilo moved part of the wall and pulled out multiple tinier versions of the canister that Ruma was in.
Small not fully formed fetuses where suspended in them. Deon felt his stomach knot. He took a deep breath and calmed his nerves. He spent a while getting use to things around here.
"Tragic really. I'm sure they would have made you quite the profit. But at least the mother survived or you would have lost everything."
Vassenhilo made a clicking sound. "Yes. Losing my pet would have been quite." He paused for a moment. "Harmful to my life."
"Any plans for these?"
"For study mostly. I am planning on taking the mutations they got from Ruma and using that to implant into the eggs of others. There is hope to speed up the process of remaking the Rindosa's."
"Excellent."
"I do have a question."
Bvelpio spurred, "What question is that old friend?"
"Do you have any idea why we found Laoq chemical in one of my Quadrants? That happened right before the attack last year. You would know who buys and sells."
Bvelpio was quiet for a moment. Then spoke, "No, I have no idea. Though I can look into it for you."
"If you would."
Deon heard something shuffle next to him. When he turned to look he saw a mass of black hair, then felt I'll and dizzy. As he went to stumble up his vision went white and he went down.
Deon didn't know how long he was out or why he was. His body felt like it was in flames. The pain was akin to what he was put through with Vassenhilo. His heart pounded as his anxiety overrode everything.
His vision was blurred, his chest ached and twitched catching up all his breathing. There was a couple of loud beeping then he felt a needle plunged into his upper arm.
It took a few minutes until whatever went into him too effect. Deon started to calm down, with each deep breath he too he looked around. A small medical bot was moving away from him, and back into the wall.
He didn't recognize the area. It was a mostly a cream coloured lounge room. The bright light coming in from outside made him assume it hadn't been too long since he went under.
"You look so cute sleeping." Carma cooed.
Deon wipped around to see she was laying on the couch that he came flipping off of. He scuttled away.
"Oh. You running from me already? But you cuddled so nicely." She flipped her legs over.
Deon scrambled up. "I think I told you to stay away from me the last time we met."
"But that isn't any fun for me," she fake pouted.
"That isn't my problem."
"Oh but you cause it. I don't get told no. You'll learn that here soon," she stood up and walked towards him.
Deon looked back to try and locate the door. When he looked back she was up on him, shoving him into the wall behind him.
His arms were locked against him as Carma quickly pushed in to kiss him. Deon thrashed his head bout. Even then she landed her lips against his a few times.
Her arm came up and grabbed ahold of his hair. She shoved her tongue in his mouth. He gaged and threw his head forward. She yelped in pain, then went back. She caught his tongue with her teeth and bit down.
Deon screamed. As he started to taste his own blood.
Carma let go before causing to much damage. She backed up some, allowing Deon to scattered away and out the door. He found stairs and flew down them and out of the building. He looked back seeing he was in the mansion.
He let his feet take him back towards the tower.
