Tyklyn was beyond boiled. As Kaylo shut the door to their shared room.
"Will you leave me alone?" He whipped around.
Kaylo just shook his head.
"Your irritating."
Kaylo nodded.
Tyklyn dropped his shoulders. "Your just gonna do that to everything I say?"
Kaylo nodded.
"Fine." Tyklyn plopped down.
Kaylo sat dow on his bed. Waited for Tyklyn to look up. When he did he asked. "What's wrong?" He followed his signs with his words.
Tyklyn tilted his head "You actually spoke?"
"Thought it might be easier on you."
"You don't need to do that. I know our people language."
"Than talk to me brother. Why have you been so angry lately?"
Tyklyn sat back. "I'm angry at our mother. She's not the same person she use to be."
"Why are you mad at her for change?"
"I'm mad that she is just some pacified pet. That she allows our siblings to be sold of and experimented on."
"You didn't have the conversation I did with her earlier today."
"What conversation?"
"She's angry with herself."
Tyklyn chewed on the inside of his cheek. "That doesn't change what she has done."
"Than what does?"
"Nothing."
"Than are you going to stay angry at her?"
"Maybe."
"I guess that's fair. But she won't take it well. You can tell her you're mad." Kaylo grabbed a pillow and placed it in his lap to lean forward on. "But what about what you have done? You were a gaurd."
"I know."
"You manhandled alot of the others here just to hide."
"I know."
"So what makes that different?"
"You know I liked it better when you didn't want to talk."
"Fine. I can stop talking that doesn't mean you can stop listening."
Tyklyn scowled at his brother. "Go back to being a weirdo."
"But I am always a weirdo."
There was a knock at the door. They both looked over. "That's probably mom." Tyklyn said. Standing up. He walked to the door, he opened it and sure enough it was Ruma.
"Look I am-" Tyklyn started to say, but Ruma wrapped him in a tight hug. "I'm sorry."
She shook her head and held onto him. "Can I come in?"
Tyklyn moved so she could walk in.
"I need to run something by you two."
Ruma spent the next little while explaining her original idea, and then the one Deon cane up with. As well as much of the conversation she could recall from what Ratok said.
"I don't like nor agree with Deon and your idea. But I also don't agree with Ratok. We do need to do something to get out of this mess." Tyklyn said at the end of it.
"I don't have to do what Vassenhilo or Bvlepio does. I can find something less awful."
"Mom, doing anything with the underground trade with still promote it."
"Would you rather us run til we die? Or do something morally grey and stay alive? I want yall safe and alive and I am not above or beneath the actions I need to take to do it."
Tyklyn grumbled. "I do agree we need some time to think on what to do. I have spent a long time being against what your wanting too do."
"And they tried to kill you."
"Old habits die hard."
"We will talk more. Sleep we leave early in the morning." Ruma kissed his forehead goodnight, than went and did the same to Kaylo.
