Ruma watched as the guards took Ratok away to the arena. His days of rest were over. This time around he had a bit more hope and wasn't so doom and gloom he had been the last time. It seems like all he needed to get back to his old self was that last fight, his wounds had healed and he was finally back to his old strength.

While Ruma was a bit more confident in him too, she still worried.

Once Ratok was out of sight, she turned back to the other three. "I am going to have to head out for the games again today, they are starting to eliminate contestants to get ready for the finals, I should only have one full round, meaning I shouldn't take longer than a couple hours."

"We'll be fine right here Ru, you won't have to worry about us too much." Deon said, watching her worry. "Stop worrying."

"You know I can't stop that." Ruma said with a huff. Deon came up and rubbed her arms, kissing her forehead.

"I know." he said, "Take care of yourself and try not to get too worked up, we need to keep you as relaxed as possible in this situation, his hand brushed her stomach. Ruma nodded. "I'll watch your boys, though I'm sure those two would do more damage than I would to anything, I'll still watch 'em to help ease that brain of yours."

Ruma smirked, mouthing her thank you.

"Go make it to the finals, you've been studying hard to make up that gap." he patted her arm as she turned to leave. Ruma was quick out the door and down to where she needed to be, she was one of the few 'pets' that were allowed out and about by themselves. Though her situation was obviously a lot different than some of the other pets, she still found it unusual.

"Ahh, our little star," Bvlepio said watching her walk into the tent. "Get enough sleep after last night?"

Ruma rolled her eyes. "Plenty"

"Oh, come now, I heard you speaking all last night."

Ruma glared. "Yes, well now my voice is fried. I don't use it."

"Fine, hold out on me why don't you. How is your activities going?" that was he little code for asking about the plans, not the most creative but would be able for them to casually work around it.

"They are quite boring" she said, letting them known nothing is wrong and it is going as planned.

"Too bad." he said, handing Ruma the electronic pad so she could look through more information and terms, while she waited for her turn. Ruma went to sit down when she noticed Vassenhilo enter the tent.

Her blood boiled, it must have shown in her face even as she tried to hide it.

"That scowl makes you look ugly pet. What happens to be wrong this time." he said pacing around the tent.

Ruma refused to speak, as she knew she'd get herself into more trouble if she did. There was no plan to piss him off today so she wouldn't risk it. Though the sight of him made her sick to her stomach.

"Ruma answer me." He ordered.

She tried to bury herself into the electronic pad more.

"Ruma."

She still ignored him.

"Ruma i am losing my patience with you."

She pulled her legs up under herself.

"RUMA!"

This time Ruma glanced up, just beyond the tent she could see a couple of noise people peak through the gap in the fabric to look in to see what the commission was about. Ruma just blinked still refusing to speak, but at least she was now looking at him.

Vassenhilo's top set of eye went red. "Why are you still disobeying. I asked you a question and you still hadn't answered. I said speak."

"No" there she said something, and returned to the electronic pad. Faster than she could see, the electronic pad went from being in her hands to shattered in a thousand pieces outside the tent.

"Do not use that to avoid me."

"I am not using that to avoid you, I am using that to forget that I was told you forced breed a child-MY child"

Ruma stood walked passed Vassenhilo picked up the broken electronic pad, and then went and sat back down.

Bvelpio raised a brow. "Vassenhilo is this true? Breeders know better than to do that, it jeopardise the quality of the stocks." he still playing the part of the confidant friend that is simply trying to help. "Was it one of the boys of yours?"

Ruma didn't say anything.

"Why are you judging what I do with my stocks? Rather I test on them, modify them, or breed them it is all up to me."

Bvlepio shrugged, "Just because it is up to you, doesn't mean you have to do something to prove your power, seems offly counter productive."

Vassenhilo turned and walked off. "I'll see you on the stage" was all he said before heading off.

"He is certainly becoming more and more unhinged as the days go on. I might speak with the heads and see if we can't move things along a bit quicker or change plans as I don't this lasting until you return to the compound in a few months.

Ruma sighed, she knew things were going to get far worse than just the scream fits. She has been around vassenhilo for a while.

"I hope things just go as close to plan as possible"

"Well, tell me, have you bred with your males?"

Ruma looked up, "I have but I will not be going into the details of that with anyone."

"No, no. I don't need the details just the confirmation, you breed well I have seen your stats, you shouldn't need a second round, but if you don't catch on this we will have to wait a week before doing another forced one, or else it'll mess up your body too much. So you should possibly get in two or three if we are lucky attempts before his deadline for you is up."

Ruma huffed, "Well, if my maeger wasn't in the arena death games, and I wasn't here. My back wouldn't be off the bed."

"I understand the frustration, I do. Tomorrow, there is another little party, I will try and take you again." "FIne." The voices started playing over the intercom. "Well there you are Ruma, games are starting" Bvlepio said listening to the crackled voice. Ruma bobbed her head a bit before standing and heading out to the stage front where she was needed. She could only hope she moved on to the next rounds.
