A/N: This is the final chapter of The Fighter and it does involve some post-match locker room fun. Feel free to skip if that's not your thing.

"Come on, Barnes. You can finish this off with one more good hit." Tony said as he swiped a towel across Bucky's sweaty face.

They were going into the seventh round of the match and Bucky had been doing well until the last round. His opponent, Brock Rumlow, had delivered an illegal strike with his elbow that caught Bucky in the chin. Brock played it off as if he was trying to turn to avoid a blow from Bucky and accidentally caught him in the face.

Rumlow was Bucky's toughest competitor yet. He had a flawless record and was brutal in the ring. Statistically, the odds of Bucky winning were low, but that just made him more determined to beat the odds. Brock never fought fair in the ring and it worried you. If anyone could break Brock's winning streak, it would be Bucky and Brock was well aware of that. You had seen Brock injure more than one fighter over the years and you were afraid that he would do the same to Bucky. You made your way to the ring and climbed up the side, holding onto the ropes.

"Dad, is he good?"

"Yeah, just a little stunned is all. He's gonna be just fine." Tony picked up the water bottle and squirted some into Bucky's mouth.

"Brock is weak on his right side. He's been throwing most of his hits from his left." You told them.

"How do you know that he isn't just holding back?" Bucky asked, looking up at you.

"Trust me, Bucky. He's injured or something. Brock usually has a damn good right hook, but tonight it's been off."

"Y/n, we can't chance that." Tony said.

"No, she's right. All the hits I've taken from his right hand haven't had the same force as the ones from his left. Thanks, doll." Bucky winked at you.

The bell rang and Bucky walked back to the center of the ring. You and Tony hopped down and stood watching as Bucky began throwing everything he had at Brock. He moved around the ring like it was a dance. He'd step in and deliver a blow, then as soon as his fist connected, he'd step back out and shuffle around to avoid Brock's hit. He was mesmerizing to watch.

"Come on, baby. You've got this." You yelled out.

"Baby?" Tony's said, looking at you with a cocked brow. "What happened to Jackass?"

"I broke up with him because he was cheating on me. Bucky, uh...helped me through it."

"So, you and Bucky?"

"I'm sorry, Dad."

"Don't be. I knew he had a crush on you. Me and your sister actually had a bet on how long it would take for him to finally do something about it." Tony chuckled.

"So, you aren't mad?"

"Nah, Barnes is a good guy. I know he'll take care of you."

"I love you, Dad." You said as you flung your arms around Tony's neck.

"Love you too, kiddo. Now pay attention. He's about to go in for the final blow."

You swung your attention back to the ring. Bucky was leaning into Brock, delivering blow after blow to his abdomen. He stepped back and allowed Brock to throw a jab at him, but Bucky side-stepped and threw a right hook at Brock, sending him falling to the mat. The referee called a knockout and pronounced Bucky the winner. Tony hopped into the ring and pulled Bucky into a quick hug then grabbed his hand and held it up as the crowd cheered for Bucky.

You cheered with the rest of the crowd and smiled up at Bucky. He pushed through the crowd that was forming in the ring, flinging his gloves off as he went, and held his hand out to you. As soon as you took it, he pulled you up between the ropes and into his arms. His lips crashed into yours, hand knitting in your hair. He pulled away with a wide grin on his face.
