"Fucking hell, how are you not dying, Y/n?" Steve asked.
"Because I have excellent hand-eye coordination, Harrington." You smirked as you made Mario jump over a large gap that Luigi had just fallen through. "And maybe you just suck at Super Mario Brothers."
"Maybe." He muttered and handed the controller off to Dustin. "Your sister is unbeatable."
"Yeah, right." Dustin laughed and took the seat next to you as Steve sat on the floor next to Robin.
"Let's see if you can last longer than Steve, little bro."
You both began the next level and were staring at the screen when Lucas and Max came running down the stairs followed by Erica and Billy.
"Where's Will, El, and Mike?" Dustin asked, not taking his eyes from the screen.
"They're on their way." Lucas replied.
"Hope you guys don't mind, but I invited Eddie." Dustin said.
"Munson? Are you kidding me, Henderson?" Steve twisted around to look at him.
"Why'd you invite the long haired freak?" Erica groaned.
"You liked that long haired freak when he let you become part of Hellfire." Mike said as he descended the stairs with El and Will.
"Doesn't mean he isn't a long haired freak." Erica snapped.
"That hurts, Lady Applejacks." Eddie grinned at her as he came into view then turned his attention to you.
"Hey Y/n. Didn't realize you were home."
"Yes you did. You begged me to invite you over when you heard she was coming home." Dustin said, confused.
"Dude!" Eddie said harshly through gritted teeth.
Eddie glanced at you with reddening cheeks, ready to deny what Dustin had said, but you were focused on the TV screen instead of their conversation.
"Yes!" You yelled and jumped up from the couch. "Don't try and school the master, little bro, cause you'll always lose."
Dustin stared at the TV screen seeing that his character was now dead and out of lives.
"How are you so good?" Dustin squeaked. "We just got a Nintendo yesterday!"
"I guess I should've mentioned that my roommate has one of these and that's what we do on the weekends." You shrugged and passed the controller off to Mike.
"Told you, your sister is unbeatable." Steve said.
"I'm gonna go grab a drink. Have fun children."
"Can you grab me..." Dustin started.
"A Coke, I know."
You ran up the stairs and rummaged around in the fridge until you found a Tab for you and a Coke for Dustin. You turned around to head back downstairs, but your attention caught on a small golden circle on the other side of the kitchen that grew larger as you stared.
"Uh, Dustin! Did you invite any other weirdo's that I should know about?" You yelled down the stairs.
You dropped the cans in your hand as the hole opened up and a man stepped through. Taking a step back, you raised your fists in front of you, and readied yourself for a fight. The man had clear blue eyes and dark hair except where it was grey on the sides. A perfectly manicured goatee sat on his face and a red cap wrapped around his shoulders. Footsteps came thundering up the basement stairs as the small kitchen filled with your brother and his friends.
