Bucky came bounding into your room with a cup of coffee in his hand. He sat the mug on your dresser then crawled into bed beside you.
"Wake up, doll. I brought you coffee."
The mention of coffee had you cracking your eyes open to peer at him. You and Bucky had been sneaking around for the last two months. Even though you lived together, it wasn't as easy as you thought it would be. Steve seemed to always be lurking or surprising the two of you. He had almost caught the two of you kissing more than once.
"What are you doing here? If Steve catches you in my bed, we'll both be dead."
"Steve left for the gym about ten minutes ago and he said that he's just going to get ready in the locker room and head to work from there. We have some time before I have to leave for work, so I thought we could cuddle for a bit."
He wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you into him. Your head settled on his chest and you slung your arm over his stomach. You hummed in contentment as his arms wrapped around you. Bucky felt like a kid on Christmas who just got the one present they had always wished for. He couldn't remember the last time he felt so happy and carefree. Not even the knowledge that Steve may end up throwing his body in the Hudson could dampen his mood. He and Steve had been friends since elementary school, surely he wouldn't throw over twenty years of friendship away because Bucky was in love with you.
Bucky felt your body relax in his arms and knew you had fallen back asleep. You had the day off from work today, but unfortunately, Bucky did not. He gently rolled you onto your back and reluctantly left your room to get ready. He snagged your cup of coffee, drinking it himself as he got ready for work. When he was done, he walked back into your room and kissed the tip of your nose. Your eyes fluttered open and you stretched your arms over your head, arching your back. Bucky groaned as your breasts pushed forwards.
"You okay there, Buck?" You smirked at him.
"You're killing me, Y/n."
"Ehh, you'll survive." You chuckled at the frown on his face.
"I sort of drank your coffee." He said sheepishly.
"That's alright, baby. It would've been cold by now anyway." You grabbed his hand as he sat on the bed looking down at you.
"I love hearing you call me baby." He leaned back down towards you and planted a wet kiss on your lips. "I want to take you to dinner tonight. Steve has a date with Peggy, so we can leave after he goes to pick her up. Sound good?"
"Sounds great. Have a good day at work."
"See ya later, doll." With one more kiss, Bucky walked backwards out of your room and gave you a wink before leaving.

You were putting on the finishing touches to your makeup when you heard a knock on your bedroom door. You swung the door open expecting to see Bucky, but instead finding Steve standing there. He eyed you up and down and then crossed his arms over his chest.
"Where ya going, little sis?"
"I have a date, Steve. What did you need?"
"Who's your date? Is he picking you up? I need to meet him before he takes you out." Steve was in full on protective brother mode and you couldn't help but roll your eyes at him.
"I'm not telling you anything. You don't need to meet every guy I go out with. I get that you worry about me, but you take it too far, Steve."
At that moment, Bucky walked up beside Steve and leaned against the door frame with a smirk on his face.
