You followed Strange through the winding halls of the building, eyes scanning every nook and cranny. Every once in a while, you'd turn to make sure everyone was still following you. Strange guided you into a large room where a man with dark hair and eyes was standing next to a tall, blue-eyed blonde. Two women, one with red hair and one with blonde, were across from them. The four turned to your group as you entered. They looked over you and your friends with weird looks on their faces.

"What the hell, Strange? You said you were going to bring people that could help. Instead you brought us a bunch of kids!" The shorter of the men said.

"Tony, this is the group I was talking about. They will help us beat Thanos."

"How? By tossing their pacifiers at his head?" Tony quipped.

Erica pushed through the group before you could defend yourself or your friends.

"I guess if we're throwing pacifiers, you plan on throwing your walker." Erica cocked her head to the side and glared at Tony with her hands on her hips.

"Is this child calling me old?" He looked back at the blonde who was stifling a chuckle.

You grabbed Erica by the shoulders and pulled her back behind you.

"Rude!" She scoffed.

"Stop, Erica." You said forcefully through gritted teeth.

You turned back towards the grumpy looking man and forced out a chuckle.

"We seem to be getting off on the wrong foot. I'm Y/n, and that little ray of sunshine was Erica." You introduced the rest of your group and waited for Tony to introduce his people.

"I'm Tony Stark." He started. "That's Steve Rogers. The redhead is Agent Wanda Maximoff and the blonde is Agent Natasha Romanoff."

"Nat for short." The blonde added.

"I'm sorry, I still don't see how they're going to help us." Tony said, looking at Strange.

"Without Y/n's powers we won't win. Without them," Strange gestured behind him, "we won't win. They've faced things far more malicious than you would think and they've come out victorious each time. With our help and training, they will prove to be a great asset."

Tony scoffed, but finally relented.

"Fine, but I won't be responsible for them if something happens."

"We will need to set them up with rooms and clothing. I would like Y/n to start training with me right away."

"I can set her up with some training gear." Wanda said.

She stepped closer to you, holding out her hand for you to shake.

"It's nice to meet you, Y/n. I'll introduce you to my brother, Pietro, later. I believe the two of you will get along well." Her accent was pleasant and she wore a warm smile on her face. "If you'll come with me, I have some clothes you can change into."

You looked back at your group with an apprehensive gaze.

"No harm will come to them here, Y/n. You can trust us." Wanda said, lightly touching your shoulder.

You nodded and looked at them one last time before following Wanda. She gave you a pair of running shoes, tight black leggings, and a matching sports bra to change into. You tied your hair into a ponytail, feeling self-conscious about the amount of skin showing.

"Um, Wanda? Where's the rest of the outfit?" You asked as you walked out of her bathroom.

"Trust me, you'll get overheated if you wear too many layers. Strange told me he brought you from the 1980's. I assure you this outfit is normal for the time period. Everything will be fine."
