"Y/n? Y/n! For fuck's sake, does she ever listen to me?" Tony asked, looking around the room.

You were staring out the window of the meeting room with your chin resting on your palm. Your eyes were glazed over as you stared at nothing in particular. This was the third meeting in a row that you had zoned out in. Curiosity got the best of Wanda and she slipped into your head, but quickly receded when she saw the images flashing through your mind. Her cheeks reddened as she glanced at Bucky. He was staring at you, but looked over at Wanda when he felt her eyes on him. She quickly looked back at Tony who had resumed his meeting.

Bucky's brow furrowed at her actions. Why was she looking at him like that and why did she seem embarrassed when he caught her staring at him? Wanda usually didn't get flustered easily, but something had made her flush. Bucky looked back at you and wondered if she had seen something in your head. Wanda wasn't one to pry, but every once in a while she would take a quick glance when her curiosity peaked. When the meeting ended, you quickly left the meeting room. Wanda tried to follow you, but Bucky caught her on her way out.

"Wanda." He called out to her.

She tried to pretend she didn't hear him, but he hurried to stand in front of her, blocking her only exit. She avoided eye contact with him and he knew she had seen something she didn't want to. The question now was what had she seen?

"Why are you avoiding my eyes?" He asked.

"I don't know what you mean." She said, looking towards the ceiling.

"Wanda." Bucky's tone was stern, making her sigh loudly.

"I don't think I should say." She answered him quietly.

"Is it something you saw in Y/n's head?"

She nodded slowly and finally met his eyes.

"Was it about me?"

Another slow nod.

"Was it embarrassing?"

"For me." She mumbled, but he heard her.

"So not embarrassing for me?"

"Embarrassing isn't the word I think you'd use." Wanda squinted her eyes, looking off to the side in deep thought.

"Look, I'd love to play twenty questions with you, but I just want to know what she was thinking about." Bucky said, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"You know those daydreams you get sometimes?" Wanda said softly as she looked around to make sure they were alone.

Bucky blushed as he thought about the times she had caught him thinking about you.

"Yeah?"

"She was having one of those...about you."

"Wait, seriously?!" Bucky's eyes went wide.

"Yep."

"I thought she had a date tonight. You sure it was me she was thinking about?"

"She does and, unless she knows someone else named Bucky with a face identical to yours, I'm pretty sure it was your name she was moaning in her head."

"Then why the hell is she going out on a date with someone else?" He asked angrily, throwing his hands up and letting them fall heavily to his side.

"Well, let's think about this." Wanda cocked her head up a bit and placed her finger on her chin. "Did you ask her out?"

"Well...no."

"Have you ever asked her out?"

"No." He mumbled.

"Have you ever given her a reason to think you wanted to?"
