I went down the lobby a bit later than him since I still have to go back to my hotel room to check my things and also prepare my uniform and makeup. We slept together on his bed and ate breakfast early, then I went back to my room.

I can tell Dinara is skeptical of me because we spotted each other in the corridor. I closed the door to my hotel room after retrieving the luggage. 

She laughed, "Bitch, another drunk episode again?" We carried on our way in the direction of the elevator when I shook my head. "You woke up late or you went out of his room late? Which is which? Explains why your face never gloomy today, huh? Boy finally watered the plants?"

I turned to face my friend, beaming with happiness. She was aware of my struggles over the past few weeks and assured me that I would never feel alone again. I swear I'll never pout again. I became red-faced and heated when I thought about it.

She grinned broadly and squealed happily at me. We jumped there like we were teens after she gave me a firm hug. She actually dislikes commitment and relationships, yet look at my friend cheering me on and showing her support!

"Damn! Finally! We are all tired worrying about the two of you! He's so annoying sometimes you know! What took him so long to get you? That dumbass!" She yelled as we continued to bounce excitedly and joyfully.

"So you're finally okay now? No more crying,okay?"

We strolled on and took the elevator down to the lobby, saying, "We talked and realized theres no point delaying if we both want it right? Life goes on so fast."

"Urgh...I didn't know that its very hard to have a couple within your friend group. Please the two of you refrain from fighting okay, you guys worry us so much."

"We're better now," pagmamayabang ko.

"No more fights! Nicco was like a kid of a two toxic parents when he's the one guarding the door to keep Deuce out of your room when we're in maldives. I even thought Deuce gonna punch Nicco that time,"

"Yeah...we intend to not tell you about what happened in maldives. Its better if you don't know anything about it and how messed up Deuce was that time. He's so worried and scared, Av. Right there and then we all know that he's really serious about you and that it's no longer games for him,"

My phone beeped and it showed a notification from Deuce.

Deuce: You done yet?

Deuce: Everything is alright there? Briefing will be in thirty minutes.

He texted me again, and this time, reading his messages made me happy in a different way. I had no idea how much I had missed it and how much I had taken it for granted until now, when I have the opportunity to be a better girlfriend to him. I scrolled up again and checked his recent messages.

Deuce: Good morning, beautiful. I hope today is as nice as your ass.

Deuce: I miss you.

I pursed my lips and stop myself from giggling too much. Started typing a reply for him while we wait for the elevator to open up on the right floor.

Avis: Sorry, this number is not a morning person. She can't chat right now.
