Would he be able to give me what I want? What I deserve?
No... he would only be able if he wanted to. And maybe I can't give him the love that he wants either. Or I can, but maybe, if my love is too good for him then I'm not the person for him. And he's not the person for me because I need more, not only to have things in common or mutual understanding, but many other things... and I can't pressure him into doing more for me, his actions have to come from the heart.
Looking at it this way makes it easier to accept.
