Yoongi's POV
“So…” Yoongi said to Seojun after hanging up, “I think Y/N might be on to something, what's your take on it?” He slid down his seat a bit and rested his head against the backrest, closing his eyes as everything that had happened during the day crashed on him. He was suddenly extremely tired.
“Like I told her, Yoongi-ya, she's a genius. I don't know what she saw, specifically, but if it was the footage that KBS itself was showing then I think I know what it was. There was a moment there when every single person in that crowd turned to look at their phones at the same time and then everything exploded. This has to have been planned ahead. I'm sure not everyone in the crowd knew about it, but the majority seemed to know. We'll investigate.” He chuckled, “Miss Y/N must be relentless when it comes to mistakes at work. I don't think I'd ever want to be on the receiving end of a reprimand given by her.”
Yoongi shuddered, because he had been sort of reprimanded by you on the night the saesangs followed Kookie. “Trust me, you really don't want to.” It seemed that slowly but surely, everyone around Yoongi was falling for you. “My princess can be scary when she wants to be.”
“Good. She should be scary. Keep jerks aways.”
“I couldn't agree with you more.” Yoongi more or less sat back up properly, “that reminds me…what did you agree on for the tour?”
“Han will stay with her during the first leg of the tour, he will bring her to San Francisco and we'll switch there. I'll come back with her to Korea and Han will finish the western part of the tour. When you guys are back in Asia, we'll switch again.”
“I'm amazed that she agreed to that. She was adamant that you needed to be with us for the tour.” Yoongi stated.
“It wasn't easy, but I think what made her agree was the fact that Huang's grandmother is getting the surgery by the end of may.”
“Oh?” Yoongi was as surprised as you were, but in all honesty, he hadn't been following up with that particular issue.
“Yeah…I've been in contact with Huang-ssi,” he shifted uncomfortably in his seat, “because the doctor's office is not telling him how much everything is going to cost.”
“I told the doctor that I would foot the bill.”
“Exactly. But he doesn't know that and the secretary correctly assumed that you would, so she's deflecting and told Huang to talk to me.” He sighed, “I've been deflecting too. I don't think it's my place to say anything.”
“There's a reason why he and Y/N get along so well. They're both proud and stubborn. But I understand where he's coming from. Okay. Let me talk to him tomorrow…no, you know what?” He was already looking through his contacts, “I'll call him right now.”
And he did. He pressed send and it took Huang three rings to pick up.
“Hello?” His voice was agitated, “is everything alright? Is noona alright?”
It didn't escape Yoongi that Huang hadn't used his name. It was an unspoken agreement between, what was really, all the men in your life to divulge as little information about you or your relationship to anyone. He was grateful for that.
“She's fine, she's fine. She's at home. Thank you for worrying.” Huang let out a sigh of relief, “I was calling to talk to you about something regarding your grandma's surgery.”
“Oh?”
“Seojunah told me that you've been talking to him about it and I realized I did something that I shouldn't have done without talking to you first.”
